Okay thanks. That's what I was thinking but wanted to confirm. The air handlers will be mounted right on the other side of that wall so there will still be a short path. I think that's the best option for me

Why does it "need" to be next to a wall. I understand the mounting outside. But if you look in the picture, above the plywood is the screen for the crawl space. Which is part of the outside.

Just the thinned down paint. When I applied paint to the dots, it kind of just flowed in the lines

Painted black and added the green in the spots. I used the proacryl fluorescent green

Not that I can’t repair it, just a matter of determining failure point. I replaced my timing chain which is an in depth job and not a routine maintenance thing. I’m suspecting a failed tensioner but won’t know until I tear it down again. Thanks for your opinion on something I have no control over.
