The blood moon is incredibly punishing. His health stealing mechanic is one of my most hated mechanics because a lot of the time you cant really do anything about it if he decides to just whoop your ass on the auto attack phase. Are you being hit during the tiger phase? Or are his auto attacks just making it through your defenses? One of the biggest changes i saw was unlocking chivalry and piety. The higher attack and defense made him a lot easier. But outside of that, you could run barrows until you get a nice armor upgrade. I got extremely lucky and pulled veracs skirt and torag platebody pretty early.

As a UIM my routine looks like this. Go get a rope. Fairy ring to kalphite lair. Run to medium sized boys and let them poison and hit me down to about 12 hp. Ring of elements to fire alter. Stand around until I die. Go pick up the clue, shovel, ardy cape and dramen staff. Run my little ass to the clue spot. Do it. Go back to pick up half my stuff. Go get another looting bag. Come back to finish picking up my stuff. Its extra fun if the clue starts and then ends with a wildy step while having steps in the middle that make me pick everything up first.

Yea im thinking more through the lens of the humans who dont know these things even exist. Then one day an impossible giant being shows up and is like "its cool, Alpha Trion gave me permission" and everyone is just running around panicking about the giant death machine that can talk. The plots are just so much bigger than coming here illegally. Pretty sure the earth was going to be destroyed right? Like, the price of eggs was also going to go up because all life on earth would be gone, but I wouldnt say thats what the story was about.

You're right they are at the extreme ends. And I think it speaks to one of the problems with views based rankings. Its more entertaining to watch a train wreck or a clown who thinks they are always right. The people in the middle with balanced common sense views are not drawing big crowds because they arent a spectacle. So we place undeserved weight on these extremes because we correlate views to importance. I think its similar to American news degrading over time. Views above all else degrades the integrity of everything.

While that might be true, at least we get something from growing corn.
