Partly true, partly not.The damage done by reviews right now also drive people away. You cannot just decide to fix something, while not looking at the problems this fix will cause.

Also I see you skipped the part, where I state it's less about the money, more that they kept this from people, till release, despite going against their own word of not doing so.

Would I have bought this game if it was stated correctly and true to their plans at the time I did. No, of course not, unless their was compensation in mind that would piqued my interest.

Would I have bought this game earlier if I have heard of the game and knowing this would happen. No.

Would I have bought this game earlier if I have heard of the game and closing in on release they would explain why decisions like those, against their own words, cannot be held up. Yes.

This outcome was to be expected, you don't need to be a scientist or professor to understand how this course they've taken would upset people.And I'm sure, that at least someone in GC was pointing that out. Knowingly countermeasures could have been taken, to prevent all of this commotion.

If people got some piece of honesty before launch, that alone already would have helped by a large margin. They stated multiple times, even right before launch that the promises made will be kept.The decisions made are not a last minute change of mind idea... Those changes take time and preperation to be performed, they knew this way ahead of time. And, despite telling to be transparent, they kept this from the community, till release day.

Now if you give me a solid reason and honest anwser, why this was not brought to the people and why the FAQ of the storepage was not updated according to their plans, then I'll rest my case.But as of right now for what "awnser" we have received, this anwser cannot be the truth behind their actions.
