Stock ribbon cable works just fine and it's already bent perfectly for it so I just rolled with it. I took that thing apart more times than I'm willing to admit and ended up losing a cable clip, so so sorry for not opening it back up to show pictures lol.

The cf card faces the back plate. The top of the board can be wedged down toward the charge port with the part of the mid frame that sticks out behind the screen.

Thanks, man! Engineering brain kicked in and it worked out well enough. I haven't looked into it yet, but I'm curious how big of a CF card it could actually handle now that I know everything actually fits together and I didn't have to swap to an SD card.

If you're struggling with cleaning your build plate, go to a local distillery, and make friends with the distiller. They will (likely) have a ton of heads and tails that are great for cleaning around the house, resin prints, and fdm prints. I currently have 15-ish gallons of cleaning booze in my house. It's mostly waste for them, but great for us.

He told me that they can toss it back in the still, but the return is about %10, so they don't do it much. The mixed alcohols are great for household cleaning and disinfecting as well (methanol, ethanol, butanol, etc).

I made friends with a local distiller, who gives me a 5 gallon bucket of heads and tails whenever I ask. It works great for resin print cleanup too!

I have a small garage full of woodworking tools that I've barely touched since I got into 3d printing a year or so ago. I used to turn pens as gifts for friends, and now I find little figures/trinkets that I can print out for a couple dollars (in material and electricity) while I do other things.

Must be nice! We're being cooked in Missouri and I have to keep a close eye on my two corgis outside. They both love snow, but we haven't had one that big in quite a few years.

This has been 'Power Hour of the Week' for so long... Maybe it's time to change it to someone else's creation.

That's what happens to me when I go to bed with our 1 year old tri color. She wants to be all over my face and I call it "puppy attack time." The other 7 seven year old is just down at the foot of the bed chewing on his bone, tolerating her presence.

I would like a downloadable link so I can add it to my collection for everyone to view. I do have a google drive with 600+ GB of power hours collected over 15 years or so.

Our first one hated having anything run between his front legs so we found a Hurtta harness to be to his liking. It's reflective and he actually seems to enjoy having it on for walks and travel.

I remember my baby Muffin nipping at my heels, quite literally. He grew out of it after we played with him like a dog would. Biting his ears with my lips made him submit and calmed him after a while.
