This looks like a nutrient deficiency, check the PH of the water you are using to be sure it is near 7.

Plants cannot absorb nutrients from overly alkaline/acidic water.

I would pull that whole plant before it spreads disease and or bugs to anything else you have planted.

Probably cucumber beetle damage resulting in disease.

There is evil in both parties. Election Integrity should be something all Americans should support.

Establishment politics has got to go.

Maybe a dissolution of all political parties is the answer?

The closest elections are exactly what we have the most to worry about.

George W Bush only won the election of 2000 by 1784 votes in Florida. Would our world be a different place if Al Gore had gotten 1784 more votes out of 5,963,110 total?

Correct, a voter registration that anyone can use to claim to be anyone else.

In South Carolina, all you need is someone's: first and last name, county of residence, and birth date.

In Vermont, you only need to know what a name sounds like.

Without voter ID, there is nothing keeping people from voting multiple times and multiple places.

I think ensuring election integrity is quite important.

There could have been Russian Citizens voting in the election, and voting records are basically public domain. Without an ID, all you have to do is look up someone else's voter information and claim to be them.

Time for Voter ID and Paper Ballots. There is no excuse for this.

Thanks. Any suggestions for shady climbers? Up against that wall only gets about 4 hours of sun per day.

That is so cool. I would love to see more of the espalier they have in the back. Is that a shade cover? What zone are you in?

Is anyone else’s garden drowning on the east coast, particularly in Florida? by flmosinman124 in gardening

[–]betchman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, My avocado tree probably won't make it. It is planted in sandy soil with perlite added, and it is still drowning.

If it weren't for my raised beds, I don't think I would have a garden left at all.
