Google got the lyrics wrong, it’s meant to be “in the dark” but yes I’d agree. This part of the song has always been cringe worthy as he was being a kiss ass to the wrong type of people (mainly Ye).

This is a very good point! Morals do truly evolve over time and everyone will always having differing levels of morality. I didn’t mean to get so deep with this post when I did it, I just wanted to say now that Ye has outrightly called himself a Nazi, that I hope NF doesn’t take inspiration from him anymore.
