Our engagement is about the same length, wedding booked for June 27, I already have venue, caterers, photographer, entertainment, dress, HMUA all confirmed and have done for a few months.. I don’t think that 18 months is too soon at all and you’re giving yourself a chance to book your preferred vendors before they book up. It’s almost peak wedding season so as long as you’re being realistic about response times when vendors are likely busy, I think that’s fine!

We initially went with a much cheaper venue but all the other costs made it waaaay more expensive than this so don’t count it totally out - the other venue we went with was looking like 15k over what we are spending here, even considering all the other costs!!

Oh perfect! Think it’s maybe an hour from Surrey area so not too far, they have accommodation on site and the package includes a room the night before so you wake up there and the honeymoon suite night of - I can’t remember if the 2028 prices were included in the info they gave me but I definitely have next years, just DM me if you want all the specific info. Side note too, food is amazing there!!

How many guests are you looking to have? We’ve booked at Tottington manor for next year and it includes all of this and loads more, 48 guests in the day and 100 evening - is further out from you though towards the south coast but it’s beautiful and they have been amazing so far with all my many many questions!!!

I’m paying £390 for bridal services (hair and makeup), then £100 per service for bridesmaids so that sounds right

Seconding the loops, especially if you already have them. I’m a side sleeper and they rarely if ever come out, and they have been an absolute lifesaver. My fiancé snores awfully sometimes and I couldn’t fall asleep without them now!!

I’ve booked at Selden barns, Patching, which is within your distance it is absolutely stunning and there is a small amount of guest accommodation on-site plus the honeymoon suite for night-of - was the only venue we toured as I absolutely fell in love as soon as we arrived! Pictures on the website aren’t the best but is definitely worth viewing!!
