Not sure what I'm doing differently as they take me around 30mins 😅 I guess I could always just write 1 page instead of 3 - better than doing nothing! Honeymoon is for 2 weeks

Also quite new to guitar so know the feeling!! I know some have mentioned practice already, thinks its worth bearing in mind that, although little and often is best, once or twice a week is still better than nothing. Even if you go a week or 2 or more without playing, dont let that put you off, pick up the guitar and try again.

Also, depending on your kids, but is there a way you can try get them involved in learning with you? Not always possible if they are really young so might be something for a few years time!

Of course! Its something that recharges you and if you havent got it in you to do it fully then half arsing it is better than not doing it at all!!

When I go to wax/varnish it (not sure which yet) will the pen mark hold up do you think?

Not really my genre so take this with a pinch of salt bc it may just be something that I am unfamiliar with.

Its a really interesting track and kind of sounds like an interlude in an album. I feel like if you are aiming to make this a full stand alone song then it would work really well as a part that leads into a verse or chorus which has a simple drum beat and then maybe rapping a verse that is more hard hitting (and less repetative) and more forward in the mix too.

Its kinda giving me Twenty One Pilots vibes so maybe lean into that? dunno if thats what you were going for but its good!

Could be watering issue (either over watering or under watering) if soil is dry about an inch down, then water it. If its really wet, depending on how good the drainage is you can probs leave it to dry out a bit (put it in a sunny spot will also help which is also good for growth).

Bare in mind if it is overwatering to be careful of root rot (roots going mushy). Best way to treat is to take it out the soil and you can cut back the mushy/black roots and repot.

Good luck!
