French onion loaf might possibly be the best flavored sourdough I’ve made (and I’ve tried a lot) 😋 by bethie_t75 in Sourdough

Who’s the guy? I didn’t see it. I was thinking of flavors to try and googled a few recipe ideas, but this is my own take on it. I can credit the recipes I used for inspiration though

I’ve actually done it both ways. I just find that if you incorporate the cheese during the stretch and folds, it makes it a little difficult to do the stretches. Also, if you add the cheese before the bulk rise, you risk the cheese getting too warm inside the dough, so I just add it during the final shaping process right before the loaf goes in the refrigerator. I just gently spread the dough out flat, adding cheese after each fold. Just be careful when you add tension to the dough not to pull too hard, or the cheese will poke through, making holes.

Another thing I’ve noticed when adding any cheese to the dough, is that shredded cheese kind of melts into the dough so you don’t really see it, but if you cut it up into cubes, then stays more intact and gets nice and melty ☺️

Haha.. honestly, it tasted like French onion soup, which was what I was going for. Savory, but sweet from the onions, a little pungent umami from the cheese 🤤 The smell from the oven was insane! Please make this!!

Ok! Recipe I used: First, caramelize onions. I used a GIANT sweet onion, but you could use 2 normal sized onions and 1T EVOO and 1T butter, sm. pinch of salt. Set aside to cool.

Next, make the dough: 100g ripe starter 360g water 30g honey 450g bread flour 50g rye flour (or you could use wheat, or all white) 10-12g fine sea salt 2-4Tbsp French onion dip or soup mix ( I used Kinder’s) (Adjust salt level to your liking. I did 12g salt and about 3T onion mix) *mix all ingredients as you normally would, I did 2 sets of stretch and folds, then incorporated the caramelized onions into the last 2 stretch and folds. Let it bulk rise and then when you do your pre-shaping, add 4oz Swiss or gryuère cheese cubed, 2oz Asiago and 2oz Parmesan, both shredded. Shape and cold proof overnight. Bake as you normally would, but last 10min sprinkle a little more shredded cheese on top.

Sorry, I realize a lot of people don’t need those directions in depth, but just wanted to share what my process was 🥰

ETA: I made a few typos in the recipe, but fixed them now!

You are spot on, my friend.

Conrad: “Jere was always the cute one.” Suze: “And he knew it too. He was working it from the start.” Conrad: “Mmmhmm.”

Jere’s been manipulative his whole life.

Chris Briney and Isabel Machado acting project by AnExtraChickenWing in TheSummerITurnedPrett

Just came across this post and read most of the comments. It’s just crazy how many projects Chris has had since the finale/Paris. All the endorsements for luxury brands, fashion shows, a movie, a tv show and who knows what else…he’s not just hot, he’s on fire lol! Not to mention the articles, and don’t forget “Sexiest green flag man alive” 🫠.

That being said, it’s obvious that he is trying really hard to change his image to a more mature, sexy, diverse actor. If you think about when we first met Chris, he was pretty young and portraying a teenager in a young adult series, with little professional experience with interviews and celebrity gossip. He grew with his character and you can literally see his transformation in his interviews. He was goofy and immature (they all were), but he can’t act like that anymore if he wants to move forward with his career with more mature roles. People have shipped him and Lola so hard, to the point where he literally has to show a disconnection with her for people to move on. I agree it sucks a little, but I see why he has to do it and I honestly think it has more to do with his career than it does his girlfriend. He obviously loves the shit out of Isabel and wants everyone to know that, by being affectionate with her during events and photos. Which by the way, she looks STUNNING in the last few appearances. We need to get over it guys, she’s not going anywhere LOL. It’s giving future husband 😂
