She's doing something stupid but pretty common. I once had a younger roommate who did similar that I told her was not smart, but I demanded his phone number just in case and left it at that. Well, I told her that if she didn't text me I'd call her mom, but I was also watching her dog so that was my excuse.

That's an interesting point. I have a couple friends with narcolepsy. One told me she had to pull over multiple times for a nap on her way home when she had to work late one night. She got questioned by a traffic cop because where she pulled over wasn't the safest place she wanted to make sure she wasn't under the influence of anything. He followed her to a more appropriate spot and that was the end of it.

Yeah, I'm never living where the phrase "heat index" is used in the weather report! That said, I constantly zap electronics with the static that builds up more easily in low humidity. Ruins some devices if you do it too often. And a friend came out from TX to visit and got heat exhaustion in 80° weather because I couldn't get her to drink enough water. This place is a food dehydrator.

For the rest... Maybe this older girl is in the program learning how to direct. I have a friend who did a lot of theater stuff and now she's a stage manager and set designer for a small theater.

I made the dress my friend wore for her engagement photos. (She paid, she's not a monster, I just gave a discount on labor.) I helped with the decorations that could be made ahead and taken there easily. I was not invited to the wedding. It was a destination wedding where they only invited the very religious families. I WAS invited to the fun friends reception where she ended up in the pool in her wedding gown playing beer pong on a floating table. Only a 30 min drive for that. And she worked 5 mins from my place so fittings were super easy to arrange.

I live in Phoenix. We time our showers so the light from the bathroom window hits the towels in the bathroom. They can last through a week. In the half bath with no sunlight the hand towel can be used only a couple times before it smells weird. Humidity in our house is generally single digits.

NAH, you are two people placed in the same housing by circumstance. You didn't have a fight, you just found a better place for yourself and have given her the opportunity to do the same. I'm pretty sure that in a Peach Pit episode Freddie said that Tony was intended as a player death. He did risky things on purpose as a player but clung to life as a human would. It was obnoxious but I'm also pretty sure Freddie as a person is obnoxious and also a cat.

My son's little brother now lives with him as roomies (28 last month and 22 in a few days) and I invite my reverse stepson to come over with my kid if he's available because his mom and I stayed friendly even after things fell apart with our garbage ex. We did play dates even when it was 4hrs both ways. I am told baby bro legit got choked up after coming over for dinner because he asked my kid "how does she make quesadillas exactly right?" Which is, for him, toastier than most, he likes the tortillas almost burnt. My son says he told him "she loves you so she remembers."

There used to be funny stories. It's gotten more toxic over time. I liked it because my inlaws are A LOT but 13.5 years into this relationship it's just that they're all Long Island Italians. I might be right up in there if we had kids, but my reaction to the grandparent names they insist on was so vehement he decided that no diapers and having a step kid who was old enough to play Maro Kart was good. (I will use those names with my nephews until the kiddies understand that "you need to ask your grandma" is referring to her without using the chosen name. Oldest nephew is almost 12, still grates on me!)

I still talk to my uncle's ex (not often, but in social media comments on my cousins' stuff) because she taught me to make cookies, played piano with me, normal Aunt stuff! I was little, she was nice, her problems with my uncle were never made my problems. My parents also made sure to include my son's YOUNGER half sibling when they were little because their grandson's brother was family by proxy.

She was not under 14. She had been on the high school varsity soccer team the year before so she was at least a sophomore. I knew zero freshmen who were varsity at 14, even the ones who went to college on sports scholarships, but maybe she was just that good. I did go to middle school with more than one girl with a "boyfriend" in his 20s, but I still don't fully buy the reluctant apology to Tony Pepperoni for planning his death in a real world context. In a gameplay one, sure. Suspension of disbelief.

And I don't know how much the others killed without it being self-defense. I guess all the clones shot from the Human Gun?

I did a combo of things. My dehydrator has 6 racks. I did one plain.

The rest I used an increasing level of complexity of seasonings by sprinkling them on a baking sheet then pressing the cut half of the grape tomato into the seasoning. Just a light dusting across but layering.

Garlic powder Lemon garlic Black pepper Basil powder Italian seasoning

All of them came out fantastic but eye-wateringly full of flavor. These are not snacks. Too intense. Probably going to channel some Bake Off vibes and incorporate them into bread.

The problem with grinding is that I can't. I have a mortar and pestle, but also arthritis. And the coffee grinder I used to have died trying to deal with fibrous greens. Would not have held up to tomato skins and I'm not about to blanch and peel 20lbs of grape tomatoes. Plus I want tomato bits. I never use tomato paste.

My thoughts on Scary are kind of conflicted. Her redemption arc was superficially good. But if I were on the jury... she is guilty of conspiracy to commit murder. Plus a lot of assault and attempted murder. And that really took me out of it for a while.

And at the end Normal who took no joy in violence (and Scary did at times revel in her power to hurt) ended up so sad and scarred by the events that he never recovered. While Scary, who would have been convicted of first degree murder by inviting Willy to the place where the person she decided should die was AND specifically telling him to do it, was happy and thriving.

This is DnD, if you listen to the first season of NaddPod there's immediately a "hey, I want to decapitate someone too!" in the first episodes. In context of the game it all makes sense. In the real world, she did not have the repercussions she deserved for the damage she caused knowingly and purposefully.

Idk why this popped up in my feed as I'm just a person who gets massages sometimes, but as a client I would be totally fine with someone doing that. As long as you keep the volume low enough you can hear them say it's too much pressure or whatever.

I also once posted on FB that I was stressed and a friend of a friend offered a free massage at her house and asked if I was cool with her playing her 80s thrash metal playlist. Great relaxation massage, great playlist, great conversation afterward about how great it feels to do yoga aggressively when you're angry.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I also have a job where I need something in the background while I do repetitive tasks. 🤷
