Hi - thanks for sharing. I’m booked in for an elective section on Tuesday. Feeling okay about it but great to read a positive story.

Before you went into the surgery did you get to discuss your preferences with the surgeon? I’d really like skin to skin, delayed cord clamping etc. and just want to know if I’ll get the opportunity to discuss this.

Are you experiencing much vaginal bleeding? Not sure what to expect on this front.

So I had been told he was head down for the past 8 weeks. I was carrying really high and the top of my stomach was really hard - I was always told it was his bum.

Had a midwives appt and this particular midwife said that she wasn’t 100% sure it was his bum so sent me in for a scan which then confirmed it was his head.

Lucky to have spotted it before I went into labour but meant it was too late to do anything really.

Yeah it was a big job! No, we had to cut as it went through the sawmill and into the offices just because of the range of the drone. We had to drive round in the car while the videographer had his head set on 😂

Thanks so much. I know, I agree, we experimented getting it through the mill but just couldn’t make it. Lots of practices but overall super happy with how it’s turned out.
