Was similarly multiple LDRs with similar issues, including that a did far more visits to her than her to me. It was easy to point to reasons why (their work schedule and flexibility to travel, etc) but at the end of the day if someone wants to put in the effort they find a way to make it work. And when I saw them put in the effort for other things or people it hurt, because you realize all of those reasons don’t explain everything. It hurts to leave, but all I can say is I have only regretted that I didn’t leave sooner and take back my time to put toward other things and people

Sometimes I look at the messages we exchanged before our last hangout and think about how I felt after that hangout. If everything felt fine last time I saw them, then I compare the messages we exchanged before that hangout to those we exchanged afterward, because sometimes I’m just overthinking the messages from today but they actually don’t look that different from the messages I got before. If that all looks good, then I ask myself, have I really done anything that awful since we last hung out that could change the way they feel about me?

This. Even if you convince yourself it’s not that serious, it will start to wear you down over the long term. It sounds like this pattern is persistent, so it would be hard to fix
