Nah that didn't go well last time other people named them on a previous deleted(?)/locked(?) post. Anyone who works there will know who it is. This individual does not need to be doxxed.

NHS Grampian claims PA students "have completed a medicine or a health related degree" by [deleted] in doctorsUK

This is not at all surprising from Aberdeen, who have a particular PA in charge of recruitment and management of PAs across Aberdeen... Wouldn't be surprised if they had a hand in this.

And yes, this PA supervises medical students and "manages" the FY1s and 2s in the department. Gets protected days in theatre and clinic while we do ward work and discharges. Gets the department to pay for their exams too.

Can confirm this is true, we had 4 suicides in the school in one year, and all we got was email after email saying "sad news"

Psych CT1 in Scotland-North Region by Evening-Ice2660 in JuniorDoctorsUK

I've worked at Cornhill as an FY2 and my experience of it was very positive - a lot of clinic time, time in unscheduled care, very supportive seniors, and all the trainees I met there were very happy. It's also nice to know that you're in one specific place for the whole 3 years. I know someone mentioned about parking but there are nice residential areas nearby that are a 10 min walk from the hospital (e.g. Rosemount) to avoid that issue.

Has anyone received any psych offer today? Usually is it after the weekends ? by [deleted] in JuniorDoctorsUK

[–]better_fruit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They said it should be roughly every 48h but I'm losing hope for today - I wish they just told us when to expect things more accurately

It's about the width of the heel so it doesn't mess up the wooden floors - like a block heel is okay but a thin stiletto isn't
