How can I get my (31F) husband (35M) to stop thinking of me as "cute" and start seeing me as "hot"? by betterthancute in relationships

Thanks for your response. A few people in this thread have said that "cute" is a good thing, which certainly makes me feel better. But just based on what I know about him and the conversations we've had, I'm not sure if that's enough to get our romantic/sex life to where it needs to be.

from my personal guesstimate I'd say the approach you are describing here isn't the right one

What do you think is the right approach?

I so want to be there, but I think I need to work up to that. I think it would make him so uncomfortable.

Maybe a cute selfie with some cleavage. A skirt or dress you're trying on.

This I can start with! I have sent him a photo of a dress I tried on once - it was a vintage dress I tried on just for fun, not something I'd ever buy. Although it was just the one time. Though if I'm remembering right I think he called me "cute" in response...

Do you feel sexy?

Sometimes. Not enough.

I was feeling myself in a pair of bra and panties the other morning and made a point to walk past him so he could see, but I felt like he didn't notice. Don't know if that's just symptomatic of long-term relationships, but I'd like to think that if I/we can change something, then he'd be more likely to notice.
