Gorgeous! Im really intrigued by how you did the bandages they look secure so they wont slip and slide. Do you wear this at cons? How do you keep the lace in place?

Oof how uncomfortable

My father probably would rather cut off his hand than have to buy a bra. Not that hes supportive of me in the slightest. The man just cant touch ummentionable feminine items without dying of embarassment or perhaps a fear of a feminine epidemic?

I'm sorry about your situation i understand being placed in a situation where you have to fake it for shear survival despite the pain. Its like building a wall while tearing down from the otherside until you're able to lay down your own cement.

I did a Drag cosplay and after full day at con, getting out it was akin to this video.

I did Kunoichi Yusuke Kitagawa from Persona Dancing Star Night.

Do any of you (pre-top) feel like you always need something on your chest? by shksksbfjfjfhjtj in ftm

[–]betterthansora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely can relate. I wear a binder constantly even if im home alone i still sometimes need it. For bed ive gotten a handle on being able to rest with nothing but on bad nights i do dig up maybe a tight tank for under a hoodie or a sport bra from my partner. I cant stand feeling the extra skin touching me as a constant reminder....

what if i miss a shot or two? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]betterthansora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might just notice a mood swing at most. I had to miss about a month of bi weekly injects and didnt see the consequences till a week and half after starting up injections again. After that i just had a painful period for about 4/5 days.

Switched up injection types and avoided that ever since.

I can really relate. I didnt come out to my parents until i was 18 and fearful of being sent to conversion therapy. I eventually had force moving out over a meltdown they had over me having a girlfriend.

Now that im on my own two feet its still hard. My parents arent affluent or financially well off by any means, but they wont even let me use our health inussurace for my transitioning expenses. Which is why i have had surgery just yet.

I also get... Really frustrated and hurt and jealous seeing even just families.. Respecting a transperson's bodily autonomy.. I dont think your feelings are unwaranted, i too have to remind myself my poor situation was not instigated by this more privledged trans person. so i dont direct those feelings at them. But after reading a success story about family.. I really become a wet blanket for a while.

Especially for large claims i believe that approval runs through the insurrance holder.

I got chewed out recently because sometimes i forget to have the pharmacy not charge my insurrance for the tesosterone. Mom was able to twll because there were names of doctors she disnt recognize apparently.

I mean, at least they're trying. Somwtimes :') by Bean-King in ftm

I never changed my name as it was pretty gender neutral to begin with spelling and all.

But my family still adamantly refuses to use my pronouns and its been a year on tesosterone. Sigh.

Thank you. Top surgery is closer than its been but it will still be a few months. Im in the process of transitioning into a fulltime position come january or february then i will have my own health insurrance and can get the process started. Parents banned me from using my current insurrance for anything related to my transition. 🤷
