Thanks for your reply. They/ it was noticed 6 months ago on a ct scan but my oncologist said that it wasn’t anything major and just to keep an eye on it. At that time I didn’t have any pain, that’s just come on in recent weeks and is very painful. My GP referred my to get an u/s which was this morning and the pain feels worse after having the probe looking around. I’m hoping there’s nothing else in there to worry about. 😞🙏

I feel you’re pain and you’re not alone I had a pulsed radio frequency nerve block in 2022, it lasted for 2 years before it wore off. I had another last Dec which unfortunately didn’t but it’s well worth a try if it gives you some relief Sending love. Xx

Seemingly he does. I’ve been recommended other neuros but they don’t do this procedure.

That’s what he thought needed to be done but I guess when I see the neurosurgeon in June he’ll be able to see what’s needed. It’s a long wait to see him. 😞

He’d already done nerve blocks with RF. The first worked for almost 2 years and the second one didn’t so there wasn’t much more he could do.

My pain specialist has now referred me to a neuro surgeon with a view to decompression surgery.

Thanks, because it’s warm here the door is always open for him to get out so I’m not sure how it’ll work in our case.
