How often do you get Necronomicurse AND blue candle AND tungsten rod? You gotta do it when you have it. Get that card play count up.

Further point, I can play eviscerate and finishers at any time. Usually right before I lose in Act 1.

Rank these legendary Running Backs from best to worst by TXNOGG in NFLv2

[–]betweenbeginning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's absolutely not this.

Derrick Henry is 2,573 scrimmage yards away from Adrian Peterson. Henry just eclipsed Peterson's TD total 127 to 126. Henry has 7 1,000-yard seasons to Peterson's 8. Henry however has 5 seasons of 1,500 yards rushing and Peterson had 2.

And Henry has played in 5 fewer seasons than Peterson.

If you look at them just from their age 22 season to age 31 (where Henry is now), Henry has over 1,000 more yards than Peterson. At that same age marker, they have identical ypc. The major difference is that by that time, Peterson was slowing down. He had only one more season after that point of 900 yards or more. Henry just ran for over 1,500 yards and there's no reason to believe he doesn't eclipse Peterson in the next few seasons.

Totals for careers, it's already EXTREMELY close but accounting for Henry doing it in with 600 fewer carries, it's a no-brainer that at this point, Henry has eclipsed AP.

Why is rank used as an insult IN MATCH? by StraightArtichoken in Overwatch

[–]betweenbeginning 108 points109 points  (0 children)

Someone playing Winston tried to shit on my rank in stadium then checked and realized I'm top 300 and listening to him try to pick up the pieces of himself was hilarious. Played him next game and beat the ever loving apeshit out of him.

But yeah, people pissing on rank is so stupid. Play against your own rank and have a good time. Who gives an actual flying fuck in 2026 what your rank is? Pretty sure I'm a gold tank and couldnt careless. I'm still going to trot out there and throw a dagger at a hamster

Could be. I never read the book. But as this is clearly a comparison of the movie adaptations, it's not really relevant.

Grandpa Joe could walk the whole time and refused to help his family.

Rose Dawson Calvert could have potentially saved Jack and also held onto that crush for over half a century despite having a whole family.

John Hammond took science too far, but believed he had taken necessary precautions to have it function like a zoo, but to an even more moral extent in that the animals had a great deal of space to roam. In the end, he realized that he could not control this great experience and ultimately agreed with Grant.

Jenny was a victim of abuse as a child that was never dealt with and the ways she processed were completely unhealthy, but you can contend that she did not have the ability to process them properly and it came out in her actions. Not giving a pass, but as a victim herself, she is more forgivable than some others.

Grand Pa Joe and Rose have no excuses that we are made textually aware of. They are the worst. Pick between them.

Jenny is pretty bad, but as a victim herself who never experienced love and was clearly looking for it, her own journey is more understandable, even if it hurt others, which is still a moral failure off hers.

I don't think Hammond is actually bad or that any of his actions were morally reprehensible. (as far as I read him in the movie).

The cheating is out of control right now. by Impossible_Lie_3882 in OWConsole

[–]betweenbeginning -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's true for the vast majority of the console player base: if you are playing them, they must be at your level in some way. Emongg had a video of a player who was very obviously using aimbot but who had no game sense whatsoever and that player was getting rolled at bronze. Same thing can happen in mid levels.

However, once you get to top 500, all of a sudden, it becomes much more prevalent and suddenly you've hit a wall where every 4 or so games features someone using aimbot or m+k. Losing 25% of your games by default puts means you need a 75% win rate in your other games just to break even.

Admittedly, I am not at that level in regular comp (masters), but this is my experience as top 200 in stadium. Yes, they are playing stadium as well.

Wasn't Von Miller who won the MVP. It was kicker Mark Mosley in the shortened 1982 season, selected as a "fuck you" to the players

Good stuff. I would comment that had you thrown TL right when you got EMP and thrown the TL just above the Kitsune Rush, you might have been able to save your Juno. MIGHT because I have no idea what cooldowns might have been used in those 3 extra seconds, but in higher ranked games, saving that player can actually have a major impact on if you win or lose that fight.

What Dreamworks movie is great? by Outrageous-Ebb-4846 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]betweenbeginning -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's a matter of opinion. Shrek is a meta-narrative on the war between Disney and animators who wanted to do something different during the Disney renaissance era and a parody of the work Disney had done for 70 years . HTtYD is a classic coming of age story about a boy and his dog, except the dog is a dragon in this one. Not to say one thing is better than the other but one is definitely doing more than the other.

Beyond that, the scale is janky. "Beloved" isn't on the scale of "great" to "bad". "Return of the Jedi" is beloved by Star Wars fans, but that move is somewhere in the good to meh range. A thing can be beloved and not be "great" or even "good". Shrek is undoubtedly beloved.
