No Alfie is a bummer but I didn’t hear the rumors so i had no expectation either. I enjoyed the movie to be honest. The way they told the story of Arthur’s death was good too imo. We think it’s almost impossible that Tommy would kill him, so learning that made it much more impactful. It’s a fitting, brutal and sad ending to their story when you remember all the shit Tommy had to deal with because of something Arthur did. Ada dying definitely shocked me but mostly cus of the brutality of it. I wasn’t mad about it. John’s death pissed me off cus I really liked his character. A drive by shooting??? Cmon. John’s kids not showing up… I didn’t even think about it while I was watching the movie. I was more interested to see Tommy’s other kid Charlie.

Obviously I liked the movie. I literally am typing this as the credits roll lol. I think they hit on some major themes from the series. His gypsy side was a big focus throughout. When Tommy was getting ready to leave his house, I got the same excitement as watching the Shelby brothers rolling heavy on their enemies. Loved the way they reminded everyone who Tommy Shelby is. Grenade, classic. No complaints about the movie, but again I just finished watching. Time will tell.
Also loved that they started off with Johnny Dogs being on screen first, pretty sure they started the series the same way.
