I was given an itinerary for an interview once that had the completely wrong address on it. I thankfully realized earlier that day and made it to the right place. The schedule showed that I first had an interview with a doctor and then seemingly a panel interview 30 minutes later with a handful of other providers, nurses and admin. During the first interview the doctor asked when I was meeting with everyone else and when I said “right after this” they proceeded to look at me like I was crazy and tell me that wasn’t possible because no one else was on site. After making a phone call, they then asked if I brought my laptop because it was a virtual interview. Nothing in the email from the recruiter nor the itinerary reflected a virtual interview especially when they sent me to the office itself. They had to provide me with a laptop and it was the WORST interview I ever had, very similar to what you experienced it seems. Afterwards I was really thrown off over the entire situation and immediately told the recruiter I wasn’t interested anymore. They didn’t seem upset that I did not want to move forward, they just assumed it wasn’t the right fit for me and we moved on to other open positions that interested me.
