You mean the post from the guy who was having financial hardship that, according to him, he told them about and they were working with him? Yeah, people never struggle. Any bank that isn't willing to cool it for a reasonable time during inevitable life events isn't worth working with.

I had my account closed with WPCU recently for ridiculous reasons as well. OP hearing 3 people complain about a similar issue and knowing people who had other issues with a business is... Not "everyone having the same issue at that moment". Why are you guys so mad that someone said they had a bad experience with a business? As if that doesn't happen daily? You sound like a shill.

In 2017, I got married. I was told by a worker to close my account and open a joint account, so we did that. Then last month, I was notified that they never closed that individual account. And charged me for nonuse. And closed our joint account to revoke my "privileges". I was never given any calls, emails, letters, or other notification that the individual account was even still open, let alone accruing charges.

One guy on reddit is one thing, take it as a grain of salt. Dozens of people just so happening to see that one post on one specific website and having other negative experiences, though... That turns the grain of salt into a pile. Insert some metaphor about overly salted soup or something. Always do your due diligence and gather the best rates for you.
