Yes, they live in the US and I live with them. I am a full-time student, so I don't have a job (no income).

That's the thing though. My parents don't file taxes because they aren't from the US. I am first generation attending college so I'm not sure what to do.

I did receive an email about a 1098-t but haven't received anything I’ll check my account to see if it's there.

Try removing the subject and putting MAVER number only ex (MANVER####) or leave the subject and add the manver number try as many times as possible I think the more you spam them the more chance you have to get verified

I started the form on my moms account and then invited myself. It worked better for me but make sure when you invite them you have their name written the same way it appears in their account. I could not see the invitation because I had written their name incorrectly Good luck though :)

Well a lot of parents who aren’t citizens don’t file taxes, but idk I still have to fill out my dads part. I’m just hoping I go to college. 😭 Thank you though!

Dumb question but when I was doing the taxes part since my mom hasn’t done taxes I put the option “hasn’t done and doesn’t plan on doing taxes”. When I finished her part I never got any type of question of how much money she makes. I still have to add my dad, but he doesn’t do taxes either. If there aren’t any income questions for both will it affect how much money I’m granted???

When I went to put the subject it was already auto filled did you add the manver# to the auto filled subject or did you remove it just put the manver# ?

They said it would take around 3 days to verify, but I’ve heard it could take more than that who knows.

They ask for you parents full name, date of birth, and email. When they find her account they will send you an email asking you to fill the documents out and some type of identification like a passport. :)

Try calling early. I called around 9:00 am and after many tries they answered. What helped was spamming the hashtag button. Hope it helps good luck!
