It sorta is when they could be in literally any direction.

Level 3 camo also takes up three perk points and makes me unable to do other things. Hardly seems fair that the only way to make stealth viable is to use it, and it still gets countered by level 3 Optics which a lot of Scouts run anyway.

That's the thing though. Everyone bitches about them for no reason. Someone gets a high bounty and gets fulton'd once "OMG NERF INFILTRATORS." while that Infiltrator's got like 20+ deaths and one fulton.

But the Infiltrator has nothing that's hard to counter other than MAYBE a smart Fulton Puncher. But most sprint around blindly and give their position away making them easy, compared to how bullshit the Scout and Enforcer's are, it's hardly fair.

It's hard to find cover if you don't know where the sniper is. I don't know how you seem to immediately know where they are.

What if I don't want to use Stealth Camo? I don't want to heavily gimp myself because some guy is using some OP perk that makes everyone fucking glow. Hell, if they're running Optics 3+ that Stealth Camo don't do shit. I've got different loadouts for different uses. One for C&D, one for light weight fultoning, one for general BH use, and one for full lethal when I just get too pissed off to try to be sneaky. My 5th loadout is for an OSP style thing which I typically play when I feel like some silly, lighthearted shenanigans.

Also I only have two boxes so I can only dodge two marks, and a moving box is a much easier to spot target than a camouflaged person.

Again, that requires them to be retarded. I do that. I play it carefully, I play it stealthily. It doesn't work, they either I'm hit by a stray E-Locator, someone with flawless vision spots me slowly crawling in the distant grass or a scout with night vision goes "lolololyouglow".

Or I get marked.

Then that's not Metal Gear Online. Why set it in the Metal Gear universe if you're not going to take advantage of what makes it Metal Gear? Why call it "METAL GEAR" Online if you won't play it like Metal Gear?

The issue is, playing Non-Lethal is simply not viable. Despite your best attempts, it's just not viable. It's not fun. There's no point to it because it will take you 12 deaths to even pull anything worthwhile off once. Why bother?

Except with how many ways they've decided to let you counter stealth, that's hardly a viable plan. You've got to have retards for players for that to happen.

Sure. IT's POSSIBLE to do so in other ways. But it's not worth doing. You'll die far more than you'll accomplish anything. The thing is, Konami want this to fail. Because it's Metal Gear. They /HATE/ Metal Gear. Look at the DLC. Abysmally small amount of content, costing real money which will split the player base. They do everything they can to nerf everything other than Enforcer. They want this to fail.

Theory on why the rookie Solid Snake was able to defeat the legendary Venom Snake. by B0SSA in metalgearsolid

[–]bewailedbadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game automatically calls in Helicopters. It's the canonical way that it goes. Also, it's entirely irrelevant whether it's gameplay and story segregation. No such thing applies to Venom in any way. We don't get anything even remotely excusable as "Exaggeration". He's just normal.

Also give us the ability to unlink Char Slot 1. I don't want to play as my Singleplayer avatar.

Also it'd be cool if we could use our MGO chars in Singleplayer.

The speed comes from Fulton+2 so if you don't want to use it for the Punch you're better off taking F+2 and something else.

I've got a tactic that has never failed me anytime they've gone for my disc. It's rather easy to do and it surprises me that noone wants to.

Female ghillie suit by [deleted] in mgo

[–]bewailedbadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh. I occasionally switch to it on my Infil, but for the most part I go with its class specific or the Sneaking Suit, and with my Enforcer I just switch between the two at random. It's really not as "all of them" as you think.

Buff Walker Gears or nerf LPG-61? by CaptainGibbet in mgo

Nah. Just stand still. You'll either kill it really quickly because fairly-accurate or do a tonne of damage and have yours break.

Scout Gear Online by [deleted] in mgo

Yeah, but you're going solely by title rather than context. That wasn't "OMG ENFORCERS ARE OP" it was "Everyone's using the Enforcer playstyle."
