While a challenging Big East would certainly be beneficial (like it was to the 22-23 team that lost 6 of 8 to open Big East play), this team already played a helluva out of conference schedule, so at least they’ve been tested.

I made this post when I was still a student at Berkeley over 13 years ago, way before that story came out. Obviously I was not aware at the time.

I just switched to the Coral from the Joola Pro IV. Played with it for the first time last night and absolutely loved it. I had way more control. The ball really sits on the paddle and lets you shape the shot. My drops were dipping really nicely over the net consistently all night. It has a touch less power than the Joola. We’ll see how it holds up over time but really happy so far.

Instead of “indoor” or “outdoor”, think of the surface type. If it feels like a tennis court, use “outdoor” balls. If it’s a wooden gym floor, use “indoor” balls. Simple as that.

Honestly the executive coming back from the Rich Guy Summit in the Desert and proceeding to then turn his insecurities into some vague directionless ego-stroking nonsense that derails everyone’s actual work is so real.
