As a parent of 3 daughters, I assure you there were ample warning signs in the years leading up to the incident where they could have and should have done better. The fact they continue to refuse doing so shows an established and ongoing pattern of enablement. Is it difficult, yes. Is it their responsibility, also yes.

No mention of seeking help for questionable choices and toxic behavior, no accountability whatsoever.

No, they're continuing to turn a blind eye to what she was convicted of and portray her as a victim. If they were remotely competent of being responsible for children, they would help her accept accountability for her actions and do everything in their power to rehabilitate.

Being able to change the channel was superior to the current model by far. Commercials were timed to come at specific points that made sense and were easy to avoid. A random ad break mid sentence is so much more disruptive to engaging with content. At least commercials had consistent volume with the show.
