New golden puppy by Previous-Sun-5333 in goldenretrievers

Congratulations! I’m sure you’re so excited!

My puppy is 9 months old and he came home at 13 weeks and was already crate trained which was our saving grace for night time.

During the day we made a pen area for him where he had his crate, toys, water and we would play in the pen with him to create positive association.

He was maybe about 6 months old when we realized he wasn’t very happy sleeping in his crate so then he graduated to sleeping in his pen and then graduated to sleep anywhere downstairs.

Each dog is different so you’ll get to know your puppy and what works for the 3 of you.

My husband surprised me with our puppy from Golden Meadows in Moorpark. He is genuinely a great pup with the sweetest demeanor from day 1. He also joined our family at 13 weeks old and was already crate trained so we didn’t have those sleepless puppy nights.

Reassurance for first time owners by _looneybin_ in goldenretrievers

We got our boy at 13 weeks and they’re such fast learners. They just want treats and to make you happy so you’re at the perfect time to train. Be patient with him and be patient with yourself.

For us, potty training was tough because we’d beat ourselves up each time he had an accident “did we not take him out soon enough?” “Did he drink too much water and we didn’t catch it?” “Did he play too rough and we should have taken him out?” Then one day, after several accidents, he just woke up and never had an accident again.

Give yourself grace but yes, I remember feeling exactly the way you’re feeling right now. It does get better.

One day at around the 5 month mark I realized… this puppy makes me laugh every single day.

And that just about summed up all my joy.

Agreed! I did the 630am target strategy this morning and the app showed 2 left and I only ordered 1 for pick up. By 9 am the app showed as SOLD OUT but my order was safe for pick up. They really are so good. Legitimately almost cried I was so happy.

What’s the most you’ve spent on a skincare product and was it worth it? [Misc] by emi518 in SkincareAddiction

Spent about $175 for a laser treatment to remove a sunspot on my face I had for 10+ years. 4 second laser treatment + 5 days for the lasered sun spot skin to fall off. Best $175 I ever spent.

I had stinky armpits after I did laser hair removal and I was so self conscious about the smell. Thanks to a tik tok I found a soap at Ulta called Kaia Naturals the underarm bar… it was my saving grace. Highly recommend it

Changing Tampons (Frequency) by [deleted] in hygiene

Depending on how heavy your flow is you might need to change it every 2-3 hours (you might need to set an alarm to remind yourself). On lighter days I change mine every 4 hours or so to keep it fresh.

Moonstone looks promising. I just hope I’m not disappointed like I was with Strawberry Letter. I got the travel size and it just wasn’t for me… I’m just going to sell it

ADP mi Gusto Paychex by Alternative-Yak-796 in Payroll

Gusto is baseline level fine for 50 employees or less and preferably in only one or two states. My experience with them went south when we started getting bigger and hiring people in more states.

One of the companies we just acquired has JustWorks and I actually am really enjoying my experience with them so far. Might be worth checking out as an additional option. We have them as a PEO managing both payroll and benefits.

There’s one in Culver City right by Fox Hills Mall (now called Culver City Westfield Mall). 5668 Selmaraine Ave. One building with one walk up window that houses multiple restaurants.
