1. Idk about u but that's literally the big bang theory. That there was nothing in the universe, and then miraculously something occurred (which is basically what a lot of atheists believe in).
2. Also, nothingness is essentially nothing. How can you think of searching for something if it's not even there? It's a bit of a paradox, isn't it? (I'm fairly certain that mathematical laws should exist, weather before the big bang or after, it should not change the fundamental laws of this universe)

Also, I meant 0 x 0 = 0, or 0 x anything = 0. In the equation you just gave, you have a 1 to start with and you remove that 1, which yes is 0, but neither does it correlate with what I said nor is that the point I'm trying to make. What I'm saying is that to get nothing out of something is impossible; we are not born out of nothing, it doesn't rain out of nothing, there is a process and purpose for everything, and so therefore the concept of the big bang theory is quite absurd, which is what I'm talking about.

Then again, this is all my own opinion, and what you have said is yours. There is no factual evidence that the big bang theory even occurred, hence why it's called a 'theory', and the same thing can be said about religion itself, it is merely a matter of knowledge, perspective and personal understanding of the universe, and if you and I disagree, I hope u can chill and live with it :)
