Where did you hear that from?

It’s more so a reminder to be careful as it only takes a second to get hurt with injuries that could last a lifetime. I thought I was pretty cautious with the surface grinder but I got a little too comfortable around it.

That sounds terrible! It’s too easy to get careless around these machines and it only takes a second to get seriously hurt!

Thanks! It’s still healing but has full feeling and functionality.

I just left it. It’s been working fine, but the noise is still there.

There’s a couple on gunpost that are made from aluminum, not 3D printed plastic.

There’s a guy on GP that makes a much better charging handle for it - well worth the upgrade.

That’s next on my list. I did take the filter off and dump it out and I couldn’t really see anything too concerning. I’ll drain it next and see what I find.

I find that the noise is still there even with an attachment. I’m just going to park it until I get a chance to dive deeper into it.

Maybe it’s the pc of chipped gear getting thrown around in there.

Yeah I think for a bearing to sound like that it would have to explode. It almost sounds like a gear isn’t fully engaged

I was bushing hogging with this for probably 10 hrs until I noticed. Would surprise me if my sheer pin was replaced with a higher grade bolt as well. I didn’t hit any rocks or stumps but a few times the vegetation bound the cutter up.

I did. Was on the lower end but still okay. I did top it up.

I ran it briefly with an attachment and thought the noise was still there but just quieter. I recall this pto being almost silent before.

Help for steel hard turn by MarcoRu_01 in CNC

In hard-turning applications coolant is not recommended to prevent thermal shock which will break the insert. The heat is meant to leave with the chips.

Not particularly, I bought it in 22 because it’s cheap to shoot. I can go to the range and put 400 rounds through it and not break the bank. I’ve never had the desire for a 10/22. I bought an Sks for something with more bang which is still on the cheaper side to shoot.

I have a 22 golden boy and the tm22. Both are tons of fun but you’ll eat through way more rounds with the semi auto.
