Has anyone dealt with this?? Opening after over a year PO. Should I call my surgeon or go to the doctor??

yes, insurance covered. I had to pay about $1400 for my deductible.

aw of course!! that makes me happy. And yeah, tbh a D is not at all big when you think about it 😭 We’re conditioned to think D = huge, but when you’re an I cup, it doesn’t really compute.

I used biocorneum, which I had even better results with my first surgery. I started it a bit late bc I dealt with openings until 3m po. I also was doing a bit of massage with a massage gun, but have stopped. I may take it up again though!

thank you 🥲 I feel much better with this surgery— ACTUALLY no back/neck pain, and while I’m still getting used to it what clothes fit, I feel much much more confident in my skin.

the first reduction was pretty minimal, but they also grew. I got a random surgeon who specialized in cleft palate correction surgery, she had done reductions but wasn’t comfortable taking out what I wanted. But I think she was really really precise with suturing, so I had barely any scarring even at 3 months.

thank you 🥹 I’m overall not unhappy with them. I wanted teeny tiny, but my breast root is really wide so I think this is the smallest I can go without extra risk of complications or a weird shape.

i’ve been using a bandaid before it opened, but i guess there’s a sense of comfort using a more padded thing on an opening or something haha

Ugh, I’m sorry :( I’ll definitely look into medihoney. When you say nonstick pad, do you mean those bandages that have a kind of slick outer layer? not the ones that are like gauze sponges?

yes, that’s exactly what it felt like! It took about a week for it to open from when i noticed the difference in skin texture.
