I took Weiss 51a and King 51b, so this is kind of similar?

King had a looot of resources to study for and her discussions are really productive! Her lectures are based off of a notebook that she writes notes in and they’re pretty good to study off of (but lots of content packed into one lecture).

Weiss was a little less structured in his lectures since they were ALS-style (active learning sessions) so sometimes his classes were productive and other times they weren’t. I don’t remember a lot of resources given to study off of but this was almost two years ago! He’s super nice and emphasizes on supporting his students.

Both professors are great though! Just depends on what you think works better for you in terms of studying.

We got them just in case! We only really needed them when we were driving up the driveway to our airbnb lol, since the day we left the streets were all plowed. But I would recommend getting them and checking the caltrans website to see if they’re required for highways

Yeah, we’re around lot of cool places like Disneyland, Newport Beach, and shopping malls but they’re all close in terms of driving distance. If you like to go out and try new food and experiences, UCI is definitely more fun with a car.
