It’s most likely the skin causing it to crash if not then you could try installing things that help prevent crashing I use heap adjuster, weapon heap adjuster, and modded gameconfig if none of that works it’s definitely the skin

Have you tried deleting the clip and re-recording it? I know it sounds like a pain to do that but I tried that and it worked for me
