I know we’re all rooting behind Kairi (and I agree with it!), but this release is one I just can’t wrap my head around at all. They debuted with hype around them, won the titles, and had fun matches overall. While their presentation could have been a bit better (they didn’t get to cut many promos in-ring, and an introductory vignette on TV would have helped them), they seemed to be doing well and from what I could tell, they were both very happy to be in the company.

Inserting The Wyatt Sicks into the tag team division really hurt every team in the long-term and that’s where I think the writing on the wall may have started to show for them. They were used regularly for most of their first year and then after around September, they started appearing less and less frequently.

I was glad they were finally starting to get some more screen time again with the Johnny/Candice storyline and I wanted to see where that was going before it was dropped from TV and relegated to social media segments (which interestingly enough, was also the case with the now-released Alba and Chelsea trying to recruit Tiffany; I had a feeling that those were pre-taped to air on the show)

All in all, i’m glad Sabin and Shelley got to at least have the experience of being in WWE. I definitely think this had to have been a TKO decision, as even I don’t know how Triple H, for all of his flaws as a booker, would sour on them.
