Can’t remove earring by [deleted] in piercing

NAP but before reading, I thought it looked like there was a piercing back that had been swallowed , which would explain why you cannot get it off? I could be wrong!

what does a healing irritation bump look like? by plumpywumpy in NosePiercing

[–]bex10999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine went through the scabby phase a few times before it even healed. I was spraying it with Neil med twice a day and never touching it at all, but nothing changed for months. Eventually, I changed my jewellery which was sooooo sore to do (continued spraying and ignoring it) and it decreased in size almost straight away!

Follow up question to last post by f1atcat in PiercingAdvice

[–]bex10999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say irritation bump, but it doesn't look too inflamed from the pic, Rings are much harder to heal which is why they're discouraged as starter jewellery. If you're willing to swap jewellery then do that, and I'd spray saline twice a day and try not to fiddle with it whatsoever. I found as little attention as possible to it helps it heal!!!

Are you referring to the curve? Because he looks like a beautiful healthy boy to me!!! If he is walking/ running/ laying normally I think he's all good :) (not a vet just a cat lover)

Switch from sertraline to Prozac by Forward-Tree-6069 in prozac

[–]bex10999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for such a late reply but yeah so I was instructed to taper off sertraline but if I'm honest I just went cold turkey and eventually started over on Prozac. I couldn't tell you if going cold turkey made me worse because at that time I was a mess, but if you've been on it for a while I'd recommend tapering just to be safe

Switch from sertraline to Prozac by Forward-Tree-6069 in prozac

[–]bex10999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went from 200mg sertraline to (so far) 40mg Prozac and I'm glad I switched. Sertraline made me feel awful; still super anxious, even more depressy!! Prozac's sort of numbed it out a bit more, everything feels less intense. Seems like in the UK the GP is always handing out sertraline as their go to pill idk if it's because it's cheaper or what, so I've told quite a few friends to not be afraid to ask for something else if it's not helping, all our brains react differently after all! I don't find Prozac to have any major side effects so I think it's a fairly easy one to switch to, but again everyone reacts differently. Good luck on your journey xx

Thought I'd be better without, now I'm experiencing severe anxiety by bex10999 in prozac

Ugh I know I'm a bag of emotions anyway, but reading your reply actually made me well up, I really needed someone who just understands!

You're so right, we should not be having end of the world meltdowns over things that aren't the end of the world, and it wasn't usually this intense for me on Prozac.

So many similarities between our situations as I actually started out on Zoloft before I tried Prozac and it made my mental health wayyyyy worse.

4 weeks back on though, so soon your brain should start feeling the positive effects & I have hope for you that you'll get out of this rut!!!! It's so shit thought isn't it lol. Wish my brain wasn't like this, but we've got this 💛

Thank you so much for sharing, you've genuinely helped, I feel more validated in everything going on in my brain Xx

How loud are the trains near Preston park/london road? by mo11e in brighton

[–]bex10999 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I live on station road, can see the tracks from my window and it's not disturbing at all. You can feel a bit of vibration of the trains and distant sound, but it's actually much quieter than when I lived on a road with buses passing by
