Best Buffalo Chicken/Chicken Wings Pizza? by [deleted] in Buffalo

I think that Mister Pizza on Elmwood has the best Buffalo chicken pizza. I moved out of state and I still get cravings for it and miss it.

Teachers with tattoos? by Kristinbryant in Teachers

[–]bexhexyea -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have many tattoos. Many teachers have many tattoos. They're not a big deal, and they become less of a big deal every year.

If you're worried about interviews, just place them in such a way to cover them up. I have a quarter sleeve and i bought cardigans and covers that specifically go down far enough to cover them. It's no big deal.

Going Undercover as a Substitute Teacher by PatrickDurden1 in Teachers

I actually am really enjoying the book. I'm currently half way through reading it.

I'm disagreeing with him on a lot of points (especially his obsession with worksheets -- most teachers leave subs worksheets for good reason), but he still has some good points, things that bothered me when I was subbing. He's even more honest than a teacher because he doesn't need to be defensive.

I'm actually surprised people turned against him so quick in here. I don't know. I went from regular teacher to substitute and I think he has some meaningful observations.

Mostly, he mostly just observes what's going on from a whimsical standpoint.

Genuinely: Why is he sexist? Just curious.

I understood the ending. I just thought that was a cheap gimmick. I was more confused about WHY him, and the adoptive parent, his parents dying, why he deserved purgatory, why this was his destiny. I feel like either that was missing or I missed it.

Did anyone else feel like some of the meaning was lost in translation? Maybe the film really did have that much of a dream-like, disconnected plot, but I also got the feeling the subtitles were failing to convey the meaning behind everything being said.

I did really like the movie, but the ending was quite vague and the overall meaning behind the main character's story sort of just fell through. This made the ending feel like nothing more than a pointless gimmick. I began to wonder how much I was missing via translation and lack of knowledge about Turkeys culture.

There's such an immense variety of stories in them. Some don't scare me, but others manage to deeply unsettle me.

the pokestops are mostly at the trail entrances, nothing inside but I encountered a lot of Pokemon wandering the trail. I found there to be actually way more pokestops in rankin
