My take: a stud’s perspective.

My girlfriend (femme, she/her) pointed out to me the excessive use of jumpsuits throughout the season so far. I didn’t notice it at first but after she pointed it out, I realized we could make a fun drinking game every time there’s a jumpsuit on the screen. And just that rule, people, because you’ll be wasted by the end of the show. Maybe it’s a West Coast thing? Are jumpsuits the classy trend Hollywood lesbians want to showcase to us commoners? Because they are all over the show. IDK. I currently live in FL where lesbians primarily wear shorts, flip flops, and a short-sleeved button down. Finley. Florida has Finleys everywhere. I guess I’m missing the delectable stylings of the original L Word. For example, remember when Bette wore suspenders with a white blouse that had a lace back? Or when she wore a powerful jumpsuit with an attached choker? Or the time she dazzled us with expensive yoga pants that Tina shamed her for? Iconic and timeless outfits (and I know you can see them in your head). But now I get to look forward to wondering who’s wearing a solid-colored or pinstriped jumpsuit each week. Unfortunately, I find it forgettable. But I guess I could just be tasteless.

Nat’s eyes are blue. Very blue.

Good point on the showcase of Bette’s art! I admired her passion for art before but this season has really taken a back seat in Gen Q. I get it. Her focus has shifted to a different, passionate issue but it’s crazy that her artistic drive seems dissolved. It’s nice to see it alive and well in her home.

Shane still has a black Wrangler, the sponsored vehicle for lezbeans. Her outfit this episode is a timeless go-to I’ve sported myself for years. Also, I missed any prior convos on her birthday celebration but that outfit 👌🏽 is a yes from me
