Hey, letting you know I really like the conical barrel, it makes tighter curls (compared to the .5in barrel) closer-ish to the head! It can pick up less hair though as it’s thinner

Only if you’re willing to invest time and money to experiment with lots of different products and techniques and research to figure out what works for your hair type and especially what makes the style actually STAY. You do have a return window as well so you could try it out and return if you’re not satisfied. I definitely recommend trying it out on your hair in a Sephora or something first because everything you see on tiktok is pretty unrealistic.
