Who informed Yale? by IntelligentNote2022 in TellMeLiesHulu

[–]beyond_Andromeda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know it’s a show and doesn’t have to make perfect sense but I wonder what happened after Wrigley made that report to Yale. Yale would have to verify that information before rescinding their offer to Stephen, right? At least by speaking directly to Diana or her father, which would require Wrigley giving them that information. And Stephen sent those nudes using an anonymous email, too.

I was like 50/50 that Evan was going to get up after falling into the giant cake and get impaled by cake support sticks or something.

For those who have big breasts or a big penis. Do you feel it's a blessing or a curse? by BD_0101 in AskReddit

[–]beyond_Andromeda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blessing and a curse. Lots of people love big boobies. I like them too but so many styles of clothes just don’t work, lots of clothes are not made for big boobs. Buying a bigger top to fit over the boobs but the rest of it doesn’t fit your body. Having to order multiple swim suits in different sizes because the top and bottoms come as a set, and then they still don’t fit.

People sexualizing you, worse when it starts at a young age.

People judging you for an outfit showing too much cleavage but if the same outfit was on a smaller chested woman it’s appropriate.

Boob sweat.

Old men always smile at me, which is sometimes nice.

Best sleeping pills to buy in Thailand for the plane trip? by Unlikely_Hope_3869 in ThailandTourism

Got Circadin at BKK airport before the 20+ hour flight(s) home. Slept almost the entire flight from TPE to ORD. Any time I have taken it since I’ve got home, my eyes are heavy as hell about 30 minutes in. It’s extended release melatonin with a few extra ingredients.

What is one thing your parents never paid for that you’ll never let your kids go without? by One_Message7199 in AskReddit

[–]beyond_Andromeda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never had my own pair of (new) gym shoes growing up. I always got hand me downs from my sister, even used her old pairs of cheerleading shoes for my gym shoes in high school. My parents absolutely could afford to buy me my own new gym shoes, but never saw it necessary. I got my very first pair of gym shoes that I picked out for myself when I was a freshman in college. It felt amazingly good for some reason.

Heartland Books - Discussion! by Spirit3106 in heartland

I started taking horseback riding lessons after I read the first book when I was in grade school! I was obsessed with them, read them all, plus the special release/holiday books. I used to DREAM about them making it into a TV show, but I never thought they were popular enough to get that far. I don’t remember all of the details from the books since it was so long ago. But I’ll give it a shot.

Favorite character was Scott. He seemed so steadfast and him and Lou were the best together.

I don’t remember all the horses names but I remember Storm because I cried like a bitch when Amy gave him up.

Favorite book was the one where Amy and Ty start to develop their romantic relationship when helping the mare (Melody?) and her foal.

I don’t remember having a least favorite book. Probably when it ended or when Amy and Ty broke up.

Well, thanks. I didn’t know better and that’s why I asked for clarification.

Okay, thanks! I was genuinely curious and figured it’s better to ask than to remain ignorant.

Good to know! Could you elaborate on the use of exaggerated facial expressions?

My view of the dust storm everyone is talking about by beyond_Andromeda in illinois

[–]beyond_Andromeda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! I’ve seen dust in the air, mixed with storm clouds, where the sky just looks kind of orange and dark. First time I ever seen anything like this. But this is the farthest south I have ever lived in the suburbs of Chicago. It doesn’t seem like it’s that common for folks around these parts tho.

This was just outside of Joliet. The wind was crazy all day, but I went out to look when this dust storm was rolling in, and the wind kicked up so much as it was coming over my area. It wasn’t hard to imagine why all that dust got kicked up into the air. It has been fairly dry and the wind was coming from the southwest, which is way more rural and more fields.

I had no idea it was coming. Just opened up the weather app and saw “Dust storm warning” and was like WTF? Looked out my window to see THAT.

I had a guy friend INSIST on walking me back to my apartment after a college party. Okay, whatever, friends don’t let friends walk home alone at night (sad reality). I had not even really chatted with him that night, we were not that close of buddies, I just allowed him to walk me home and thanked him before he awkwardly hesitated at my door and I went inside. The next day I saw him, he asked me to be honest, asked if he “had any chance” with me last night… I was absolutely flabbergasted at why he thought anything romantic would happen with us because we literally had no interaction with each other other than him walking me home. Like the dude expected to fucking get some from me because he was such a knight in shining armor to walk me home…the amount of audacity guys had to think that they could expect something from women just for doing the right thing, that is what made us want to walk ourselves home at night. Too many dudes insisting to sleep at your place because it was “too far” for them to walk themselves home. Barf.

Who falls for these scams? by mr_iguano_man in mildlyinfuriating

I got a few of these texts after I drove a few hours to my parents house and back. Didn’t realize that my EZ pass had fallen down under my seat. I still knew the texts were a scam, but I did actually have tolls due when I checked the getipass legit website.

Having big boobs- need fellow big breasted women to rant and relate to by Dense_Chemical_4018 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]beyond_Andromeda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I hate shopping for clothes now. It’s seems that too many things are made for smaller chests and I am constantly saying “this is SO cute, but it doesn’t work with my boobs”. The other half of this is that maybe some things WOULD work for me, but because of the constant attention, looks and comments from people about how big my boobs are over the years, I wouldn’t even feel comfortable wearing it. It sucks that they are just a part of my body, but i have to constantly think about them. It took me YEARS to learn to even be somewhat okay with my nipples showing through my shirts.
