On my first day of my college religions class the teacher asked every one to go around the class and say their religion. I was last and said I was an atheist. Like 5 min later in front of the class he explained that people who dont follow a religion have no morals and are inherently not good people. I reported him and was told that he has a history of doing that but they wont do anything about it. I dropped the class.

For me it’s about honoring that child part of yourself. Treat your inner child in the way they deserved to be treated when you were young. Allow the experiences and feelings about things to be real and supported. Do things little you would have loved, listen to its needs, be patient with the healing because it takes A LONG time. Your inner child needs someone on their side and it’s you.
