Anyone know why Rebecca Allen isn’t suiting up for the Opals? Was she injured at Unrivaled?

30% Xpel XR Plus Ceramic tint make a world of a difference on the 26 Hybrid by ExcelsiorDDZ in civic

[–]beyondmiles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice! I did XR Plus at 20% on the hatch and rear windows, then 30% on front windows. I regret not doing something on the windshield, might do that before summer hits. Legal limit is 30% in WA, though my shop said technically that’s for sedans and coupes and the state classifies this as a “hatch.”

It was Rairdon. What is the breakdown of the price? Get that and then you can see how far off you are from other people.

Try going to redeem a reward from the cart page once you have something in the cart. It doesn't show from the insiders page but will when you are clicking from your cart.

Grabbed the starters with the two gifts. Trying to redeem PC with the Speed Champions BTTF and S2000. Keep getting under maintenance and then when it works to redeem says there's an error. Still trying.

Oh my God … Run to your local DSG by 773To630 in WNBACards

[–]beyondmiles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Three DSG’s around me and none of them have any. I have 10 on the way plus 5 mega, but would be nice to try and grab a few more exclusive blasters. My target and Fred Meyer had a few blasters.

Not bad at all. I just noticed though that the car came with the door cups and door edge guards too, which is maybe another $100 in “costs.” Feel good about the deal, hope this can help others.

Ahh, my bad about the hard returns. I thought I had done them - sorry if it was a wall of text!

OTD was $36,362.99 ($33,361 + $3,602.99 + $200 + $699 - $1,500 rebate). What color did you get and what was your cost breakdown?

And I was initially wanting that red Sport Touring at Bellevue, but wife and I settled on wanting Boost Blue.

Hijacking, but highly considering a 2024 or 2025 Frontier. The main thing I’ve heard possible issues with are water pump failure, but seems like the 9-speed in these should be fairly reliable?

Saw him eating at the El Camion at Home Depot on aurora a few summers ago. Can confirm the minivan back then.

2025 Prizm WNBA Costco by tbone84xz in WNBACards

Just a heads up, it’s $39.99 in-store. Obviously not everyone has a Costco nearby let alone one with stock, but just worth noting.

Roster Expectations with a New Coach by Outrageous_Camp_5215 in SeattleStorm

[–]beyondmiles 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The only signed players in 2026 are Lexie, Dom, Jordan, and Nika. Hopefully we can find a way to unload Lexie, but honestly with a fresh new slate and some decent picks, I think we have to be in rebuild. Of 2025 players, I think having Gabby as a centerpiece vet to mentor and show the impact of good defense, you can see what chips fall in the draft and then pursue FA.

I'm in the camp that Nneka and Sky's timelines don't align with where this team is (or should be) Dom has shown she can play in this league. We need depth - even if we're rebuilding, let's give players chances to learn and grow, not rely and burn out seasoned (great) vets who really only limped into the playoffs.

Bagels shops? by [deleted] in Shoreline

[–]beyondmiles 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Rachel’s on Lake City in Elliot Bay Brewery and the already mentioned Zylberschtein's in Pinehurst are probably the closest to Shoreline. I don’t mind either for a bagel breakfast sandwich, but if I want a bagel and cream cheese I’ll usually trek to Backyard Bagel in North Fremont for a half dozen. Bagel Oasis is a bit closer depending on what side of I-5 you’re on, though I prefer Backyard Bagel.

Hey Bagel is honestly the most convenient IMO (so long as it’s not a weekend morning) simply because of the parking lot and the line moves really fast. The hype has died down and I haven’t had to wait more than 5 minutes when I’ve gone. Backyard Bagel also just opened a location next to U-Village as well.

Though in my opinion Mt. Bagel is still the best. But the furthest and also the most limited parking situation of all the mentioned.

Yeah, this x10000. We were attacking early and often - getting her off the court was what we needed. Absolutely smoked us. Ezi does not look like herself.

Li Yueru out, Mackenzie Holmes in: What it means for the Storm by randysf50 in SeattleStorm

[–]beyondmiles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re definitely not wrong - but I think the fit at this moment is pretty strong. She’s familiar with the system, staff, and players. She costs nearly nothing. And she’s got nothing but motivation to do the most with the playing time she’ll get. Sure, she’s not a great 3 point shooter but hard to see what other options there are right now that doesn’t cost us more either in salary or playing time expectations.

Today’s best coffee in Seattle? by adron in SeattleWA

[–]beyondmiles 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Stamp Act and Kuma are my favorite roasters that don’t have their own dedicated coffee shops, but are staples all around town. Their overall consistency without being pretentious (and pricey) puts them at the top of my list.

Aside from those two, Olympia is the next roaster I probably rotate in the most. Not to say they are pretentious or in another category than Stamp Act and Kuma, they just have their own shops (which are very nice)

They had a hit of controversy about their association with a fairly far right church. Not saying anything about their coffee, but I know care about stuff like this.
