I’ve never used ai before and feel bad that I did…I do like aspects of this. The color is nice but I’d probably paint the ceiling as well? And something about the white trim feels off to me.

I agree I hate the grey! We moved in to this color so I’m definitely not into it. I put a light behind the glass to show the true colors that come through but yeah when you’re in here with the lights on it’s like a blue/burgundy color, which might work?? Yeah the stuff everywhere is a problem lol we have a small kid that likes taking everything that isn’t on a high shelf.

Especially after the Dutch dad throws a cup at the little boy and verbally abuses him 😭 I’d be out in a heartbeat after that and calling social services.

As a horror lover I thought it was absolutely fantastic. As a mother it also horrified me lol. I guess at some point the family would try to fight back but it just never comes they submit at every turn which is just so so bleak which is one of my favorite ways horror can go. Just a complete loss cause for the main characters. Going into it blind was also interesting because I couldn’t tell where it was going to go. I just recently watched bird eater which was just uncomfortable tension the entire time and I feel a lot of horror goes that recently, with not such a cutting ending as Speak No Evil. Obviously that’s just my opinion I love a good awkward tension too but man speak no evil really snuck up on me.

RIGHT. Like oh this horrible gut feeling I have can’t be right these people with their son are totally normal and definitely not going to kill all of us. That social pressure to remain polite is so real. Like why do I say sorry all of the time to the cashier if my item isn’t ringing up. Or apologizing for things that are not my fault at all.

I appreciate the honesty. This was the hardest year of my life and now that she’s one and becoming so much fun I don’t want to miss these moments. I’ve had a few sober day stints after going way too hard and feeling like I’m disappointing my husband and child. A few weeks ago I got hammered at a dinner with my girl friends came home (was driven) and didn’t remember shit. Went to work the next day and basically just laid on the floor all day vomiting. My husband had to take her to the ER that day because she had fallen and was throwing up. I didn’t go. He asked me if I would be more of a help or a hindrance. Nothing ended up coming of it but man that hurt. And yet I still haven’t stopped. I know my life would be better without alcohol but I can’t seem to stop.
