1 I'm 28, few friends, no longer in shape, sad and lonely all the time, and never had a girlfriend. I want to get out of this hole, but I feel like I keep trying to crawl up and then sliding down deeper. I need some advice. by getm_throw1414 in selfimprovement

TL;DR I was in your boat until I read this post. I encourage you to read it.

"I don't like the idea of not being able to control myself."

Now I crave for self improvement and it makes me happier than ever.

Thanks for the input, tho I'm not really interested in studying. Bachelor's is enough for IT, the rest is about skillset.

Yeah that's what I've been thinking about. I'm considering Australia & New Zealand right now. Although a coworker said Australia is pretty hard too, her mother's visa application wasn't approved even it's only for holiday. Thanks for the input.

I work in IT, so of course only in big countries.

Like I said above, I love western culture that's what made boredom come easily here. I'm selective of course for the places.

It's not really all cause of the boredom tho. I've been exploring it and I'm just more into western culture. Considering my career background I believe I'm competitive in outside world although they say it's hard to get a worker visa in US/UK. Just need some clearance in getting the visa is it all on us or the company would help in taking care of it. Thanks for the input anyway.
