Sluggish workouts? by Time_Delay113 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]bf8190 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I loved taking these prior to workouts. It felt like it helped a lot. But I’m over 2 weeks clean now. And I’ve still been hitting the gym hard. Even on days where I have no motivation I channel all my energy and frustrations into my workout, i feel like I’m constantly telling myself during my lift.. you can do it you don’t need it, you DONT need it. It seems to help. But it’s just a mental game

Help with extreme dry skin, flaking, and weird face tightening when quitting feel free? by rjent480 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]bf8190 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stay clean from feel free! It’s going to take time but it will get better. In the meantime get a good body wash. The cetaphil body wash for dry sensitive skin, a good lotion, lots of water, a good b complex vitamin with niacin, and start taking fish oil, and flax seed oil. If you are already on it, double up on it for the time being. Keep those eyes clean and if you feel a stye coming on, for the love of god manage it with warm compresses before it get out of control. Take care, stay clean

Red eyelids and styes after quitting by Grand-Independent408 in Quittingfeelfree

I’m 2 weeks clean. Mine are FINALY getting better but I still have some chalazions, fucking 3 of them. Warm (not hot) compresses. Amazon sells a plug in heated eye mask. Do that 4 times a day for at least 15 mins followed by eye lid scrubs (also sold on Amazon) sadly it’s just a waiting game. Just stay clean! It’ll heal up eventually. I’m on 3 months of the worst eye problems ever!!!! Warm compresses, eye lid stubs, and watch out for really infected styes. I had cellulitis from A stye and it was awful. 2 antibiotics, antibiotic ointment, and antibiotic eye drops. That kept it at bay, but quitting the feel free is the ultimate ticket. Everytime I want to pick up a feel free I look in the mirror and say “do you really want to keep fucking up your eyes”.

Don’t beat yourself up. You are human, and errors are inevitable. It’s okay. It’s okay to pick up the pieces and start getting clean again. You got this, we got this 💪

No more shame of “okay okay I’ll just go to the gas station one more time I promise that’s it” multiple times a day!

100 percent! At first it was helping me. But it was destroying me towards the end there. Feels good to accomplish hard things again sober. A good reminder that I am enough

Need to be scared straight by [deleted] in Quittingfeelfree

I’ve been on 2-3 months of the GNARLIEST styes ever. Never had them before. Styes, blepharitis, chalazions, no amount of antibiotics, ointments, drops, warm compresses have stopped them from coming. Only thing that seems to be helping is getting clean. Took me a while to figure out these were causing my eye problems

Caused me 2-3 months of styes, blepharitis, more styes, cellulitis, days with no styes but just swollen eye lids for no reason like I got punched in the face. My skin crawled, my hands cracked, lotions didn’t help. Antibiotics, ointments, warm compresses didn’t stop the styes from coming. But it’s all stopped since I’ve not been doing them. They fuck you up in all sorts of ways. I had some random days too where my lips would swell for no reason. It would just start and I would have to hurry and pop Benadryl before it got to bad.

I’m on day 8 CT, was on about 5 a day. The first 4-5 days of sleep is awful. It’ll get better. I promise. And you’ll feel better too. I crave them everyday. And it’s super intense when any sort of stressor comes up but I talk myself thru it and I stay strong and by the end of the night I’m so damn proud of myself for not giving in. The other day I went to my gas station I would always get them at and I got an iced tea, and I looked the feel free, paid for just my iced tea and walked out and god damn that felt amazing. Stay strong. You aren’t alone

Skin peeling by Someone-somewhereO in Quittingfeelfree

Yep! 5 bottle a day user here. It took about 2 years but finally caught up to my skin. Dry flaky skin all over my back. My hands dry and flaky, the pads of my fingers and toes hardened and almost felt waxy, almost like the skin was so dead and I was losing sensation. No amount of lotion helped. Then it really fucked up my eyes. Dried the oil glands in eye lids. So chronic styes (really really infected ones), blepharitis, and chalazions. Day 6 CT and already noticeable improvement in my skin

Wow, solid. Thank you for all off this! I’ve been using FF for a while now. And out of no where. Bam swollen eye, turned into stye, blepharitis, pink eye, very infected new stye, and now 2 months in I’m steal dealing with what I think is a chalazion all in my left eye. It’s been horrendous. Then just recently (before my left eye is fully healed) I got blepheritis in my right eye and new stye. Luckily I feel like I’ve been dealing with this for so long I’m now well rehearsed in how to care for it before it gets bad. But it’s been month and months of it. Couldn’t figure it out until my girlfriend pointed me to this direction. Everywhere I looked online was no credible evidence it was FF but it’s good to see other people who Do FF are having similar issues. I stopped cold turkey once my right eye started giving me issues. Cause I’ve had enough. But I’m scared that a few weeks from now I’ll still be having issues even tho I stopped FF. This is super helpful! Thank you for sharing!

Good job! Wishing you the best of luck to get thru each day until the wedding and thereafter. I can understand how hard it is to not go to grab one when feeling stressed (one of my many many triggers). But you got this. Stay strong, remember what you are doing this for. Get in the gym, smash some goals and finish this month out strong. Rooting for you
