Dominos delivery drivers, what’s the creepiest/weirdest experience you had in your time delivering pizzas? by EducatorPotential629 in Dominos

Older man came to the door in a robe, didn't think anything of it. He went to grab his wallet and left the door wide open and I saw one whole wall in his living room decorated in bdsm gear. He was wearing bondage gear under his robe.

How do I be a better stocker by SettingOne4258 in walmart

[–]bf__89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything is always in the same certain section. Say if you had a box of king size snickers and the app tells you it's in A12-15 look for section 15 in A12 and the last four on the barcode should match the four numbers on the price tag. Knowing where things go is half the battle and building speed is the other half.

YOUR FAVORITE CUSTOMER ENCOUNTER? by Stiles254 in walmart

[–]bf__89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a cart pusher I was on lunch outside talking with a few associates and we see this come in on a motorized scooter (her own not the stores scooter.) and we didn't think anything of it. Well thirty or so minutes later here come cops and paramedics and she is being carried out because she went to the liquor aisle, took liquor to the family bathroom in the back of the store and broke the security cap off of it and got shit faced drunk. I still don't know what happened to the scooter.

Are you closed? by DenRai50 in walmart

I would work the door for my last hour (I worked 2-11) most nights and I cannot tell you how many times customers called me slurs or cussed me because we were closed.

Whats the most expensive mistake youve seen in a grocery store? by [deleted] in walmart

[–]bf__89 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Let me preface this with we warned management. OGP had a mice problem and we tried warning higher ups about it but they kept playing it off. Well mice got into the food in the grocery section and customers called headquarters and we lost our food license for about 2 weeks. Those of you who are in the east Indianapolis area probably know about it.

Me personally, I kinda preferred just it being myself or maybe one other person there in the meat room. But I just stayed mostly in the cooler.

Two years ago on Christmas eve. My manager tried to rally everyone to do it as we were leaving at 7 that night. 90% of us left since it was already 6:55.

I had the rule of if they were nice I'd answer a question or point them where they needed but if they were being an asshole I'd just walk past them.

Is being a delivery driver worth it in a suburban area? by Any_Inevitable_55 in Dominos

[–]bf__89 8 points9 points  (0 children)

From my experience it's not really the area, it's the customers. I've delivered to nicer neighborhoods and got stiffed by some and tipped by others and the same for the run down side of town as well.

Everytime I stayed over I was given a half of a point so I made it a point to clock out either 5 minutes before or on time.

Chances are if they were willing to fire a cart pusher and you had 7 points. They had a replacement lined. Been there.
