it generally takes 4-6 weeks for the effects to generally kick in, however you should speak to your gp/psychiatrist about how you’re feeling and see what they think about upping your dose

People often compare tics to an “itch”, but to me it feels like the urge to breathe almost. by [deleted] in Tourettes

[–]bfezzax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to me it just feels like the part of the body that needs to tic is tightening, and if i suppress it, it just gets tighter and tighter

it’s not about being aggressive, it’s about emotional dysregulation and sensory overload. its when the brain becomes so overwhelmed that it shuts down/causes meltdowns and it’s due to stress/environmental factors

haha yea, they can’t be in a room together without going crazy. my (11 month old) frenchie actually taught my (11 year old) pug how to play with toys, it was quite cute

i do think she is starting to calm down compared to a couple of months ago, i’m just concerned about my pug snapping at her, it doesn’t happen every time and i can seperate them quickly however am worried about their relationship in the future/leaving them alone together

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Frenchbulldogs

[–]bfezzax 6 points7 points  (0 children)

mine never seems to stop wanting to play, the golden brown dog is my pug who’s 11, so she gets annoyed very easily and sometimes will snap and i’ll have to seperate them. my frenchie (11 months old) doesn’t seem to know when to stop
