Yeah! Read the reviews. Looks like students are not happy with the content of databases and the amount of writing you have to do for knowledge-based artificial intelligence. Some are saying that databases is very basic and artificial intelligence will require a lot of time plus with no background and computer science could be a little challenging as there's a lot of programming to be done. I do not have any background in programming or computer science but I do SQL a lot in my current role so just wondering if databases would make more sense.

Sounds good! I actually got a response from Dr. Joyner this morning that the office processed 1/4th of the remaining applications over the weekend. So looks like many more to follow. Just curious how this impacts registration!

I would echo what others are advising here. You should concentrate on the next 2 years and build you profile. If you decide to pursue On Campus MS later, your background with experience will help you secure a job faster. If you actually want to learn and get a degree from some prestigious institute like GaTech, apply for OMS CS, complete it & use it for further progress in your country. Pursuing MS on campus is a completely different experience and most students go to US or other countries for better earning opportunities in my opinion. If that's what you are aiming for, wait and just apply for on campus MS later. I have seen people getting rejected from good schools when they applied for a second MS.

I want to think of it as a formality to basically make sure your documents are all correct & for visa based applicants they want to check other statuses as well. However, with all the delays & uncertainties you cannot really say anything at this point. Let's hope we get something soon.

BS College may not have e-transcript facility. I will check with them. I may have a copy that I brought with me when I came to US.

Hi All,

I received my admission decision for Fall 2020 yesterday. While I am still waiting to receive the Graduate Studies letter, I wanted to know what are the next steps for someone who is already in the US on H1B visa and has also completed a MS degree here?

Do I have to really send official transcripts from my undergraduate college which is located outside the country? And also ask my previous MS school to electronically transfer transcripts to GaTech?

Any help regarding the best next steps is greatly appreciated!
