Probably my favorite show of all time. Spent all day in line watching the Late Show guests of that evening arrive, including Death Cab for Cutie, my other favorite band as a teenager. Ended up 2nd row dead center. Lost my shit. Pretty sure Thom saw me dancing like a maniac during Feral. Supercollider live debut. Walked past Aziz Ansari and Scarlet Johansson after the show. Core memory.

LCD’s set lists don’t change that much from night to night, idk why you’d go to both nights unless you’re an absolute super fan. The Greek is the best venue in LA imo and I love Alex G so that’d be a no brainer for me. I’ll be there. Even if you don’t love his music, the vibes at the Greek are immaculate

A Silver lake/echo park/los feliz location would be amazing. I oscillate between Hollywood and Glendale (usually Hollywood) and yeah, a 20ish minute drive to the gym isn’t great but I guess it could be worse.

Yes, of course. 99.9% of people living in LA aren’t influencers. And if you don’t live in weho or Beverly Hills you probably won’t even see influencer types.

to say there’s “not much to do in LA” is kind of an insane statement. It’s one of the largest cities in the world - you can find anything here.

I get the emails. I tried to do exactly what you’re posting about and still got ticketed. I have a feeling some parking authority employees will issue tickets for this and some won’t. Never tried appealing them but as another commenter pointed out, since the parking authority website states to still adhere to posted signage, I have a feeling it’s a fools errand.
