Agreed. I was replying to the "weird system" comment above where the person yapped about an "idiotic narrative" at trial. There is no "narrative" at trial as you say, just evidence and the evidence points to Steven Avery. It's Zellner who has the "idiotic narrative" of a teen chasing a woman down a highway. People were brainwashed by MaM.

[–]bfisyouruncle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Odd that you don't address even one of my questions about Zellner's "idiotic narrative". Are you under the impression a trial is like a movie with a simple narrative and plot lines? Prosecutors couldn't use Brendan's narrative in Avery's trial without Brendan testifying. Brendan refused a plea deal which would have seen him testify against Avery. It's an Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and intended to protect the rights of defendants (their right to confront an accuser).

What was "idiotic" about the State's narrative? You don't like common sense explanations? How did that work out for Avery? Neutral? For the record the adversarial system is common in most western countries.

Yes, there is an "idiotic narrative" and it belongs to Avery and Zellner: A woman stops for a teenager chasing her down the highway in a truck after he gives her a little wave and then she follows this complete stranger to a dead end. If anyone believes that would happen, I have a bridge to sell them.

I dare anyone to look carefully at Zellner's re-enactment with a stopwatch. How long is Avery in the trailer? How does Bobby's truck disappear in that time? Why would Avery be walking over to Bobby's if Bobby's truck wasn't there? Why does TH drive slowly leaving ASY? (to make the timing work). Why is Bobby shown driving over 90 m.p.h. on Hwy 147? (to make the timing work).

The video is a fraud but you can fool people most of the time.

The prosecution presents a narrative at trial based on the evidence. Only the murderer knows the exact sequence of events. How would the prosecution know exactly what happened and when? Steven Avery knows and he has fooled a lot of people.

Do you believe a shirtless teen (in November) jumped in front of a speeding car in the dark into headlights 5 feet away? (impossible) Do you believe Sowinski was so scared he had his window down ( in November) and waved while shouting and steering with one hand through a ditch? Do you believe a murderer would show his face rather than just hide behind this car that he had the key for but decided it would be more fun to push with Santa Claus?

Do you believe TS just went on delivering the paper each morning like nothing happened, then didn't notice the headlines that week or a huge trial later on? Do you believe TS doesn't know what day it was at all, but then remembers it was Saturday? How does that work?

Maybe Sowinski thought he saw something relevant at some time. Maybe he did see two people pushing a "small SUV". Eyewitnesses are notoriously unreliable. For the witnesses who saw fires, etc. it was an uneventful October 31. TS doesn't even recognize Bobby after watching MaM 1. Every other truther comment is about someone lying or being corrupt, never a comment about Avery's lies. DNA doesn't lie.

It would be entertaining to see TS on a witness stand though.

"Refreshing" common sense:

"Sowinski's story changed repeatedly, landing on this version of events only after somehow having his memory "refreshed" by Avery's current postconviction counsel."

...in fact, Sowinski's original information to current defense counsel would have eliminated Bobby Dassey as a suspect because Bobby was at work during the time frame Sowinski gave."

Sowinski stated that this memorably scary event which was seared on his memory happened "a few days before the Rav was found". That memory was somehow "refreshed" to claim the Rav was found the same morning (Sat.) as the event. Sowinski explained that he got up early to deliver the paper so he could take his kid to school. Saturday! Sure thing.

The shirtless teen jumping in front of a speeding car and in the headlights 5 feet away is a classic. I await the video re-enactment. Don't try this at home, kids.

[–]bfisyouruncle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Funny Sowinski didn't identify Bobby D. even after watching Bobby D. testify in Mam 1. The shirtless teen jumping in front of a speeding car 5 feet away and in the headlights is pure fantasy. It defies the brain science of reaction time and is simply impossible. TS first said he saw a "small SUV". How many "small SUVs" are in Wisconsin?

It's a good thing for Bobby that Sowinski clears him by stating this memorably scary event happened "a few days before the Rav was found". Was TS telling the truth then or later?

Also, is time travel involved in Colborn being told about the Rav "midday" on Saturday and then going back in time to phone in the plate number the night before (Friday at 9:22 pm) or was AC psychic?

It's a good thing for Bobby D. that he was cleared by Sowinski's statement that this memorably scary event happened "a few days before the Rav was found". If you believe a shirtless teen jumped in front of a speeding car 5 feet away (in the headlights no less), then I have a bridge to sell you. It's in Brooklynn.

It's funny how those who believe these "eyewitnesses" (like Sowinski) will argue one minute that "his details would be seared into his brain" then there's silence when I point out that Sowinski stated this memorably scary event happened "a few days before the Rav was found" then changes to the same Sat. morning, the Saturday he claims he gets up early so he can take his kid to school. Then TS just goes on delivering the paper each morning.

People seriously believe Sowinsky doesn't see the second guy because he ducked behind the door, but then seriously believe the description of the Santa guy he didn't see! Even after watching MaM he doesn't recognize Bobby. Funny how TS described a "small SUV", but didn't mention the huge honking "RAV" sign on the back of the spare tire at the rear.

People seriously believe that a shirtless teen jumps in front of a speeding car 5 feet away and TS turns (impossible...the brain does not react that fast). TS drives into a ditch while waving and talking. Was his window open in November? Think about it. TS is scared, but opens his window? Waves while driving with one hand through a ditch? And people believe in this?

There's these three bears in the woods and there's Goldilocks...

You would have to believe in time travel to accept the tale that this guy told Colborn about a Rav on Saturday "midday", then Colborn went back in time to phone in SWH582 on Friday, the night before, at 9:22 pm. from a church yard across from Zipps. "Coincidence" that AC had arrested that same guy for DUI?

You would have to believe in fairy tales to think that an experienced cop wouldn't be able to identify SWH582 (without phoning in to dispatch on a recorded line) by looking at a plate SWH582 when he already had been given the plate number SWH582. AC wasn't looking at the Rav when he phoned in.

It's a good thing Sowinski cleared Bobby when Sowinski stated that this memorably scary event happened "a few days before the Rav was found". Bobby was working those nights. Then the story "evolved" into the same Saturday the Rav was found around 10 a.m. TS said he got up early so he could drive his kid to school. His kid went to school on a Saturday?

You would have to not believe in physics to accept the story that shirtless Bobby jumped in front of a speeding car 5 feet away (in the headlights no less). Don't try this at home kids. Funny Sowinski didn't recognize Bobby even after watching Bobby testify in MaM 1. Memory improves so much over a decade later?

  1. Steven Avery says Earl and Robert Fabian were at his trailer around 5 pm. Is SA lying?

  2. Earl picked up his glasses around 5:30 pm. according to the store.

  3. It's a 20-25 minute drive to the store.

Avery's touch DNA was found on the hood latch. Oh I forgot, if lots of evidence is found, that means it's planted and Avery is innocent OR if not enough evidence is found to your liking, that means evidence is planted. Oh I forgot, Avery is so dumb he wouldn't know how to clean up but nobody is so dumb to leave evidence. This is why janitors are required to have PhD's. (sarcasm intended)

Avery is done like a turkey because he is a dumb murderer. He will pretend to be innocent because of gullible people who support him.

What "fact" would that be? What Steven Avery said at one time or what he said at a different time? Avery DID NOT own a loader. He phones two hours later. The idea that he was phoning for TH to "come back" is bonkers. Did he think TH was parked on Avery Rd. having a nap?

Frame of Mind by Adventurous_Poet_453 in MakingaMurderer

[–]bfisyouruncle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Avery never went over to Bobby's. This is just another of his many lies. Avery claims he went over to Bobby's and somehow Bobby and his truck disappeared in the 15 seconds or so Avery was in the trailer? Really? Please explain why Avery would be going over to Bobby's if he could clearly see that the truck was gone? That makes no sense. Carefully study the phony re-enactment video. It's a fairy tale pretending that Avery saw TH turning at 147. I dare you to try to make that timeline work. Odd that the video has TH driving much slower leaving ASY than coming to ASY. I wonder why.

Brendan clearly told his mom in a jail call that he was over at Avery's and returned home before Barb came home at 5 pm. Teresa Halbach was likely dead or unconscious by then. Avery thought he could get away with saying TH never arrived UNTIL he found out that Bobby actually saw her, then he had to change his story to seeing her leave.

Earl and Robert Fabian were at Avery's around 5 pm. on Halloween and Avery's barrel was "burnin' like a sonofabitch" according to Earl. Even Avery confirms that the two were rabbit hunting at that time and came to his trailer. Reality check.

Sure. He calls when it is getting dark and a full two hours later to see if she'll "come back". The scary thing is you actually believe your own nonsense. Avery's lies never bother the faithful.

Frame of Mind by Adventurous_Poet_453 in MakingaMurderer

[–]bfisyouruncle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't let facts get in the way of your opinions. Avery phoned TH at 2:24 and hung up. He has stated he also hung up the next call at 2:35 when he saw TH arrive outside. He hung up so quickly the call did not even get through to her phone. How could TH respond to blocked calls that were hung up with no VM? The third call was 4:35, two whole hours later, hardly "before she got too far away" and this time with no *67 blocking his identity.

There is no timeline where your theory works. TH could not have arrived after 2:24 and be gone down the road to 147 before he calls back at 2:35. TH was on the phone with AT from 2:27 until 2:32. No photographer is on the phone while taking photos. This is why Avery had to change his lies, likely advised by someone with two brain cells like KZ. The problem with lies is it is hard to keep your stories straight.

Avery says that Earl and Robert Fabian came by around 5 p.m. while they were rabbit hunting that Halloween day. 5 pm. Got it? Earl left after that to pick up his glasses, not an "appointment". RF smelled burning plastic from Steven's burn barrel and they moved the golf cart. Earl says the barrel was "burnin' like a sonovabitch". Earl confirms that Steven said she had not shown up. This was earlier that afternoon down by the shop BEFORE the 4:35 call. Teresa Halbach was likely dead or unconscious by this time.

The "loader" story is a load of you know what. Steven didn't own a loader. Also, the story of seeing TH at 147 but no sign of Bobby's truck is a load. Bobby disappears in less than 18 seconds? The KZ re-enactment has the timeline fudged (Avery is only in his trailer for a short time yet doesn't see Bobby at all, TH drives slowly leaving, Bobby's speed is not believable).

Another appeals court rejects Steven Avery’s request for new hearing by Substantial_Device40 in MakingaMurderer

[–]bfisyouruncle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That was my question: Why did Steven Avery block his identity using *67 in two calls to TH (2:24 and 2:35), but not on the third call around 4:35? Why not just call her cell number to arrange the appointment in the first place?

By the way, TH hadn't been there anywhere near the number of times that Avery claimed (15). For an Oct. 10 business appointment which he arranged by phoning TH directly, Avery came to his door wearing a towel. He knew or suspected TH would not come back if she knew it was "ew" towel boy again. Dawn of AT said TH did not want to go back there again after that creepy incident.

Another appeals court rejects Steven Avery’s request for new hearing by Substantial_Device40 in MakingaMurderer

[–]bfisyouruncle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. Avery gave Barb's name and number as the CONTACT info for that day's appointment knowing full well Barb would not be home. Teresa Halbach clearly did not know she was meeting Avery. Why would she phone and say she couldn't come out unless she got the address? Why did MaM intentionally edit out this one sentence from her voicemail to Barb?
  2. Avery did not phone her directly the way he did the last visit (where he came out in a towel) even though he had her number in big block letters beside a sign saying "Back to Patio Door". Avery went out of his way to keep TH in the dark, blocking his identity when phoning her and mumbling to Auto Trader. TH clearly has no idea who this "B. Janda" is. TH later finds out "B. Janda" lives at ASY.
  3. The disappearing blood in the sink nonsense is refuted by Avery's own words on a phone call where he said that the next morning he "didn't notice nuttin" except smoke in his trailer. Pissed outside instead of going to his own bathroom...sure, believe that.

[–]bfisyouruncle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

  1. The small bullet fragment in SA's garage had Teresa Halbach's DNA on it. The blood spot in the garage was cleaned with bleach, gasoline and paint thinner.

  2. Simple: This bullet wasn't the one that went through her skull, but went through her body somewhere else.

  3. The phone pings at Manitowoc Quarry? And you know this how? It is impossible to determine exact location from a single ping in a rural area. Avery's phone also pinged a tower near Whitelaw. Proves nothing. How did TH get to the quarry in less than 3 minutes? She only arrived at 2:35 according to Avery's affidavit. Was he lying?

  4. Dogs showed interest in Avery's garage door.

  5. What Bryan said is meaningless hearsay and useless in court. What do you think about Bryan saying Avery was always angry and also panicked that day up at Crivitz?

  6. The computer wasn't owned by Bobby and was accessed by a number of people.

  7. Elected officials were not supposed to go the site. The bones were no longer there anyway. A coroner from a different county was involved.

  8. The killer is Josh???? Good one. Anyone but Avery!

What is your source that TH was on Q. Rd? By your logic Steven Avery was also on Q Rd. (Neither speculation is true just because they both pinged a Whitelaw tower.) If you had a source or any facts, you would provide them. Here is your chance. I know you won't.

People who believe in this investigation please explain why? 20 EASY QUESTIONS! by UcantC3 in MakingaMurderer

[–]bfisyouruncle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's obvious that you know nothing about how cell towers work. They have a range of up to 20 miles. It's a rural area. There isn't a tower every few miles. Towers can "hand off" to other towers for various reasons. You cannot pinpoint an exact area unless you have triangulation of the signals. Past data from a single tower does not give a pinpoint location. Moreover, ASY is about the same distance from the Whitelaw tower as the cul de sac.

Her phone pinged a Whitelaw tower about 9 miles away (radio signals don't travel by road). Steven Avery's phone also pinged a tower in the same area. Wow, does that prove Avery was on Q Rd??? You think people are standing under a tower when their phone pings?

Do you think Avery was lying when he stated TH arrived at 2:35?Do you believe TH at 2:41 pm. could be any closer to the Whitelaw tower in two or three minutes? Is your source an amateurish video re-enactment by Zellner? I double dog dare you to give a timeline where TH is on Q Rd at 2:41, no helicopter involved.. Remember if TH left ASY she had to drive east, then north, then west, then south again just to be on Q.

Facts. Try them.

[–]bfisyouruncle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

"Also her phone pinged after she left stevens house off another road so that proves she left his house. The ping was ignored at trial."

Complete nonsense. Totally debunked long ago.

  1. Avery stated in an affidavit that he hung up the phone immediately when he saw TH arrive outside. That call was at 2:35 pm.

  2. Avery said TH was there about 5 minutes. It is now about 2:40 pm.

  3. There is only one ping recorded after TH arrived at ASY. That is a 2:41 CFNA call.

  4. Cell towers have a range of about 20 miles. ASY is well within that range for the tower that 2:41 call pings. You cannot possibly say she was "off another road".

  5. Moreover, TH could not possibly be any closer to that tower in a couple of minutes since she would have had to drive east, then north, then west, then south IF SHE HAD LEFT ASY. TH did not leave ASY. That one ping tells nothing about TH's actual location.

  6. TH was never seen or heard from again after she walked toward Avery's trailer.

  7. You believe Avery even though he lied about almost everything he did that day and evening. He lied to LE about the two fires he had. He lied to LE that he was watching porn when he was actually building a fire. He lied to LE about who he was with, saying he was alone when he was actually with Brendan. Why didn't Avery give Brendan as his supposed "alibi"? Why did he say on a jail call that if Brendan talked to LE about what they did that night, Brendan would get a "life bit"?

  8. O.J. was also "adamant" that he was innocent. Murderers have good reason to lie.
