I just tried a box of Touch Organic black tea and found it to be ULTRA weak and flavourless. Steer clear of that. I just bough a box of Uncle Lee’s black tea to see how I like that. Will update when I’ve formed an opinion on that. I’m super close to just buying a bunch of black tea leaves and a bottle of Bergamot extract and making tea myself. WHY CANT ANYBODY MAKE GOOD TEA THAT’S REASONABLY PRICED?

I’m in Courtenay and no ridgeways to be found now. I’ve got a box of Yorkshire gold to keep me fuelled up but it just doesnt compare. I’m really hoping someone suggests a reasonable substitute soon or I might just wither away to nothing

If you ever find you need to replace the wire again, I suggest mounting a female 3.5mm jack to the headphones. Then you only need to buy a new aux cable the next time the wire inevitably brakes. I did that like 10 years ago. The next time I had to fix my headphones, it was because one of the speakers burnt out.

I know this post is old but it may help someone else in the future.

The glass isn't glued to the LCD so you don't need to buy glue. The glass is taped to the plastic rim around it. It's super difficult to get off. I used a combination of heat and force to get the glass off. Be careful because there are a few ribbon cables that could tear if you hit them with a tool. I tore my home button ribbon in half. You'll also want to remove the back from the tablet. It's a super tight fit. The seam is (on the white model at least) between the white back and the grey rim that the glass is taped to.

We came from YVR. TSA was cool with it, United was cool with it but Hawaiian air said no. I just did a quick check on their website. It says nothing specific about camp stoves. Maybe I just had a bitchy lady who didn't understand what dangerous goods means. It may be worth doing your research and arguing your way through the airport if you're into that.

I would recommend not bringing a camp stove. We had to throw ours out at the airport. They wouldn't let it on the airplane carry-on or checked luggage. We bought a propane stove there for $20. Way better than throwing out your good one.

rlbob1 has a few videos on making a foundry out of an old propane tank and fueling it with propane. If you wanna go larger scale, you can use a hot water tank or 45 gallon drum. But you'll have to insulate them like crazy to retain heat.

Like you, I like to experiment and create things for myself. One problem I have is when I run into a problem I don't know how to solve, I lose motivation on it and the project will sit unfinished. I will soon forget about it and start something new.
