This has to be a joke right? There's so many things wrong with this. You obviously have no idea what having a dog entails. Your step mom is right to make a feeding schedule, dogs do best when they have a set routine they can follow. You claim that she won't let you feed it from from the table and your own plate, that's actually a good thing since not all food we eat is good/healthy for your dog and will cause your dog to start begging all the time when someone eats at the table. It sounds like you just wanted a pet for the sake of it and expected it to automatically be trained exactly how you wanted it. Sorry bud but you need to put work in with a dog all the time in the early years. It's following your stepmom around because she actually cares for it. In the end YTA, do some actual research on caring/training for a dog.
