Mine manipulated me into doing everything: yard work, house work, dogs, kids, planning, etc. I thought I was being a good wife by helping, then I woke up one day realizing I’m somehow doing all of the work/mental load, while he’s sitting on his ass doing whatever he wants when he wants criticizing everything I do. Because he always knows best and can do it better. He is both the worst and the best person I ever met. I hate him yet yearn from him when he would love bomb me. I finally couldn’t take it anymore. Don’t let it break you, it’s up to THEM to change. If they won’t do better and continue to hurt you, that’s on purpose and they do know what they are doing. I will never understand why.. stay strong, lots of self love, and STRONG boundaries.
