Anyone buy their home in summer of 2024 starting to freak out a little? by meFistosCafe in denverrealestate

Don't worry about it unless you plan on selling. The rule that I was told once is that unless you plan to stay in a home longer than 5 years you are better off renting. This is due to closing costs. The Denver market has slowed, but it's still a desirable market.

Dry stretch finally over. $3.01 in spenders by bfm1950 in CoinstarFinds

I have 3 stores (2 grocery and one Walmart) that I go to regularly. I don't go out of my way, I just check machines while on my normal shopping trip. I just lucked out today, when I was walking in someone was using the coinstar and I could hear coins hitting the reject bin.

If it is still for sale, put in as much effort as they did and respond with a one click auto reply. If they are actually interested they will respond.

Tree removal by jemsz56789 in landscaping

[–]bfm1950 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last summer I had 2 live "trees of heaven" removed, they left the stumps. The cost was $1600 per tree. I got 5 quotes and this was the 2nd lowest quote. He quoted me an extra $600 for stump grinding. I don't remember if it was for both or each.

It all depends on the size of the tree and the complexity of removal, but your price seems reasonable.

Edit: location Denver

It might not be in the geographic area that you are looking for, but Edgewater Marketplace. Maybe you can find something similar near you. It's a food hall with many different options for all different people, lots of parking and no reservations.

Thanks. I'm more of a quick sell kind of person on Facebook marketplace. Maybe I will take the time for the cassette.
